Considering to get a performance chip to increase HP and MPG. Worth the extra money? Thoughts?

The manual says to press down the brake pedal before installin, thats what I did with the first switch. On the 2nd, I just adjusted it without pressing down the brake pedal. Both switches did not work.

Yes I have turn signals and hazard lights. And the button on the brake pedal switch was not pressed. I made sure not to press the brake down before installing it and it seems to function properly. But nothing.

So I recently replaced my radiator and once I got it fixed, I had to jump my car and behold... it would not shift out of park and no brake lights. Code reader came back as brake pedal switch.. replaced it twice! I made sure to properly set the switch to the pedal and it should work but no luck...

Hey guys, I've been having this problem with my car for while.. the front passenger door will randomly sound like its lock/unlocking and the dash says "passenger door ajar". I figured it may be the lock actuator or loose wiring but before I take it to the dealership and spend $500 to diagnose...

The first shop diagnosed it as a pcm because there were multiple codes thrown, about 20 in all and they ran a full body diagnoses and figured it was a bad pcm. Then they told me I need to run it through the dealership to make sure. And the dealership diagnosed it as a bad ecm/pcm as well.
