Well after putting a new gasket on and the ford thermostat again the problem is solved I think. It bled quickly per the instructions and actually got heat. Might have a tiny bit of air left as it got up to 220 degrees when I got home but I drove it around all day and it stayed between 194 - 212...

I got a new gasket I will throw it on tomorrow. I knew better than to reuse old gasket. I was in a hurry from frustration but changing the degas bottle definitely helped.. I know the old one was bad was not pressuring up and there was a leak on the driver's side.

Well everything was going good but got home from work and coolant was coming out from behind the thermostat. I guess probably from reusing the old gasket or the motorrad thermostat is crap and doesn't line up good. I skipped doing a new gasket since they were out of stock. Woops I got one...

She held creeped up to 222 for a minute then went back down to 215-217. I guess I will take it. Well and the engineer of the cooling systems address so I can kick him square in the nuts.

A few years back like 4 years all the plastic parts were replaced including radiator. I started having an overheat condition again. So I replaced the water pump, thermostat, and put a new DCCV. This started because I couldn't get any heat. I tried to bleed the system now twice. Temp gets hot so...

Yeah found out its blowing out the back of the big middle seal. I used dorman. I think that was a big mistake. I'm going to order all motorcraft. Nothing like doing the job twice. Guess I should expect that from junk china Dorman.

It appears when i got the car running I m leaking coolant out of this brown metal part by the throttle body. I've already replaced all the plastic peices.

Hey all. Just thinking of doing my filter and fluid change tomorrow. I was thinking in order todrain the torque converter, that I will have to remove the tranny cooling line. Any other pointers you have? Thanks.

Hello all. Just bought a 61k 05 LS and it is having multiple codes. P0300, p0307, p0356, p0358, and doesnt seem to have as much power and you can feel it missing at idle. Do i just need to replace all the coil packs? Thank you. :)
