Even if you hack one up to fit a v6 you wont notice much if any real HP gain. The benefit to the cold air intake is more sound than anything.

I only looked at the first one on that page. But I saw that it modifies the oxygen senor which means it is modifying the voltage and signal inputs. Buy this and aside from the zero gain in performance, you'll cause your ECU to go crazy. (See GCWimmers post). If you're willing to drop this...

I'm assuming that you are talking about the ones you find on ebay. They are a aste of money. They don't do anything but trick the computer into thinking its receiving super cold air. You won't see any increase in power or gas mileage.

Hite (or others) can you confirm whether or not your heatshield will fit this? It seems like a pretty good deal, cheaper than the kkm and uses a k&n filter...

This is the perfect "needle in a haystack" scenario. Check ebay and craigslist regularly and contact all the scrapyards you can find. Best of luck!

I installed a new head unit today. Went pretty well, I'd say the hardest part was getting everything to fit back in the dash - Took a lot of trial and error! It's a sony xav-64bt.

With that many miles, who knows what will break next. I would advise against buying it especially since you said you don't want to put in any major repairs. You could very easily end up with a few grand in repairs very soon. Too risky!
