i'd like to add that you should unplug your dccv. when i had the service p the parking brake engaged while i was driving and when i unplugged the dccv the service p went away

05 v6 ls used Motorcraft DG528 Ignition Coils took about 1 1/2 hours to put it back together last night bled it today and i'm purring again and how hard would it be to have a valve instead of that stupid rubber screw on the bleed hose

changing coils and plugs. i searched found some diagrams and pictures and away i went. i had no idea how easy it would be to remove the intake manifold. a few hoses here a few elctrical connections there and it's apart.now if my coils arrive tommorrow i'll be back in the saddle again. there...

only 48000 miles

going to install new coils and plugs in my 2005 ls v6. what else should i do while i'm in there? pcv and elbow? intake manifold gaskets? lower set only or kit that includes plenum set? valve cover gaskets?

i feel your pain. i put on 1 from autozone and it failed 1 from advance and it failed. put on a motorcraft and it's still humming.

lol now i got a p0301 but all coils and plugs and gaskets soon and i promise to never be cheap again getting the motorcaft stuff and not the 6 coils for $77

already got the Motorcraft DG528 coils coming all 6 ,plugs,and intake gasket will start on the wires next

have a 2005 ls v6 only code is p0354. replaced coil cleared code and code returned. cleared code and swapped coils 4 and 5 to make sure new coil was not bad code returned car rough idle in nuetral or drive with foot on the brake. any idea what to do next,did not replace plug

when my dccv shorted out and i got the service((P)) indicator ,this is what happened to me. my wife drove the car to work and on the way home the parking brake engage all by itself. so if you aren't going to fix your dccv right away you may want to unplug it. when the car goes into limp mode...

i want to flush my radiator not just drain it so should i flush first then replace dccv or replace dccv then flush thanks guys

1 last question - should you flush antifreeze when doing this last one was put on by clamping hoses and just adding back lost coolant

yes it will work some times and then start blowing hot air. think i'll get the Motorcraft YG378 Heater Valve and start over i let it go a long time before i did the bleeding my self so this dccv has been in the car not working right for about a year. when i put this one in i'll check everything...
