A/C Problem

Today a very strange problem started with my 2005 V8 LS. First the dash lights went out and then I noticed hot air coming out of the a/c vent. After turning the a/c off, the hot air continued. The outside temp was about 67.

I then hit the off button and a few minutes later pressed the a/c button and the blower started again, but this time I was getting cold air on the driver's side and HOT air on the passenger's side.

Seems as if something is fouled up in the electrical system.

Anyone able to help?

Hot and cold mix out of the A/C is usually the DCCV

all iu read was "the outside temp was about 67" and i stopped , i envy you sir i greatly envy you its 89-95 here

but yes DCCV ( Dual Climate Control Valve" ive seen them as low as 85ish to 120ish

mine is a 2005 v6 you'll need to check yours for fit
