2000 Lincoln LS - no start issue and OBD link error

The PCM has the same programming as the old one ('00 low emission) and is working with all of the systems, but the REM or fuel pump is acting up now.

2000 Lincoln LS - no start issue and OBD link error

New PCM got the diagnostics to work and the fuel pump to prime, but it still won't start. The fuel pump sounds pathetic, just a slight whimper when priming, not the strong whir my other LS makes.

2004 LS Climate Control Issue - Not DCCV

Seems to have been the discharge temp sensor for the drivers side. I swapped the sensors from each side and suddenly had heat on the drivers side. This is despite the fact that the passenger side vents were cold before. The system must favor the drivers side reading for adjustments.

2004 LS Climate Control Issue - Not DCCV

I just installed a brand new interior temp sensor today and it made no difference. So much for my theory. My car isn't equipped with the climate controlled seats. It seems like the DATC always thinks the interior is hot, EXCEPT for when the car is first started and is warming up. The heater can...

2004 LS Climate Control Issue - Not DCCV

Like I said, the heater is hot when set to 90°, so coolant flows fine.

2000 Lincoln LS - no start issue and OBD link error

I've already checked all fuses, relays, etc. The engine cranks over fine. The PATS seems to be working fine as well.

2004 LS Climate Control Issue - Not DCCV

The coolant level is right where it should be and the system has been bled multiple times. The Aux pump might be getting weak, but even if it is that should not effect heating performance at highway speeds. Plus, like I said, the heater will get hot when set to 90°F.

2004 LS Climate Control Issue - Not DCCV

I recently bought an '04 V8 Sport that needed some work. I noticed right off the bat that the climate control was really cold at any temperature setting below 85-90. I figured it was a malfunctioning DCCV so I ordered a new Motorcraft piece and put it in. No difference. I've ran the DATC...

2000 Lincoln LS - no start issue and OBD link error

I'm working on a 2000 Lincoln LS V8 for a family friend. I've owned a few different LS models over the years and am pretty familiar with the systems and how they function together. This one has me stumped though. The issue popped up overnight. They parked it, went out the next day and it...

    '00 LS V8 HVAC Issue

Hi guys. I recently purchased my third LS, a '00 V8, and I'm having an issue with the heating and cooling system. When I bought the car it was displaying the classic failed DCCV symptoms, stuck on full heat and no A/C. After inspecting the car I found that the A/C condenser had been punctured...

    2000 LS Heater issue

I've posted here before, this is just a new account. Thanks for the help. I think that there's air trapped in the system, so I'll keep bleeding it.

    2000 LS Heater issue

Hey guys, I bought this '00 knowing it had an issue with the heater. No matter what the air coming from the vents is not hot and both sides are the same temperature. The A/C is frigid, so it properly adjusts the cold. After researching what it could be I replaced the DCCV or Heater Control...
