    AC Compressor & Manifold Line

My guess is the original problem still exists. I had my mechanic check the system and he found the entire system was missing washers ( used to seal the system ). After replacing all washers and recharging the system, car is acting normal again.

    Vibration from rear

Just jack up the rear and search for loose parts. If you don't do your own work, have your mech do it. Can't hide loose stuff. This has been a big hospital year for me, otherwise I would be doing the work myself.

Lincoln is definately stepping up its game!

I don't know about others, but the LS front grill looks like it's got a smile on its face, while the newer ones look like they want to eat me. (All other things aside).

I need access cover for tow hook(front bumper)

I replaced the front bumper cover, valence but could not find the access grid panel. My body shop guy found one and painted it to match the car for $107. Not sure where he found it, but it looked new when he installed it.

    cars pulls/drifts

Mine would wander on the highway, symptoms were, accelerate it pulls to the right, cruise without acceleration, would mostly track straight. Didn't matter which lane I was in as I would always get the same results. Felt like I was always correcting the steering. Around town at about 40 nothing...

remote fob wont roll windows down anymore

fyi also make sure your battery is up to snuff. all sorts of erradic stuff can happen with a dying battery. BTW autozone or some such battery test may not reveal the problem. I had to take mine to my mechanic where a real check and stress test was done. They found the battery was crapping out...

    2000 Lincoln ls owners

I got cricket for 2500 last year with 128K, V8, some issues. I'm currently putting it back into shape because I just like the car and don't put a large chunk of miles on it per year. Right front tie rod replaced, who ever worked on the AC didn't put the o-rings back in, thus no air and the...

One less LS on the road :(

buy back is usually an option, if the car doesn't have much frame damage. Didn't look like you popped the airbags. That usually makes the car repairs prohibitive in which case you may want to look around for another one and parts this one out. Just a thought.

    I'm out, got a Kia

I'd be suspect of any car made in Japan as being radioactive. FWIW, had an 87 Hyundai that lasted 24 years. Just recently donated it to the Veterans and was still running, though I wouldn't take any long trips in it.
