I would highly recommend Ohio Generator. Doing a previous show car for stereo comp almost 10 years ago and Ohio Generator was the only alternator that could hold up with 210 amps. I originally had gone with stinger alternators with external voltage regulator but after the first one burned out...

I had to replace that same piece when i hit a fox.. i replaced without removing the whole bumper, but it was a pain. And i think it is riveted to the front with a few places to screw down to the bumper.. I just ripped out the rivots and bolted up the new lip.. I got mine from Team Ford Parts...

I agreed, just had mine replaced, can hear the thunking sound going over road with cracks.. Definately feels a lot more controlled now. Not sure but i think they replaced the hole stabalizer with bushings. but can't recall right off hand
