+2 VCG I just had mine replaced last week, and had the exact same symptoms you had. After a day, the burning oil smell was completely gone. Also, I just came back from a 150 mile round trip, not a scent of oil.

Sounds like my level of expertise. Did you have any trouble removing the seat? Did you have to do anything special with the side air bags before removal?
