Good Morning, everyone:

I'm trying to route some wires for a stereo installation, and I'd like to remove the door sills / scuff plates. From everything I can find from search, it looks like they should just pop off. However, I'm applying an awful lot of pressure, so much so that I'm afraid that I'll crack the sills. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks in advance :)

They just pull off. Try to put a screw driver near the tabs that hold it on and pry it up. If you can't find the tabs I can post some pics for you.

SPY, would you mind posting some pictures? I'm at work right now, but I'll try your advice as soon as I get home tonight. Thanks!

what spy recommended is the best way to do it. when they have never been removed they will stick a little more than say,...mine which has been removed so many times! :D

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I was able to use my biggest flathead screwdriver, which gave me enough leverage to pull the sills off. I look forward to this being easier in the future :D
