As I said, long overdue. The rear pads were worn down to the rivets. They had been digging gooves into the rotor.

For some who have a problem with the "Door Ajar" message appearing when their doors are shut, WD-40 doesn't get the job done. It didn't work for me, and I used a lot of it.
Another solution is to remove the switch and clean it, or (if necessary) replace it.

I'm working on replacing my torque converter, and need to remove the starter motor.
The mechanic who installed my transmission really put those starter bolts on tight. I've rounded off the edge of one of the starter motor bolts, and there isn't much room up there for me to use my bolt-out...
