Which steering wheels fit 96

(other than another 96 duh)... my ivory steering wheel looks pretty bad, I'd replace it if it's not a ton of work. Does anyone know what years I could use as a replacement on my 96 base?. I guess there's the wheel, the buttons, and the bag?

any gen 1 wheel will fit, and any mark viii airbag will fit.

Gen II airbag in a 96 will require slight modification of the connector. I like the Gen IIs bags since the lincoln star is a gold plastic insert, not just embossed.

I'm pretty sure that the only difference in the carpets would be the little hole by driver door in a Gen2 for the parking brake release lever

I found a 99 Cobra steering wheel/buttons; is that an FR500? will work in my 96 Mark?
