The p.o. changed the springs/ struts to the Strutmasters before I got it so I have no comparison vs. stock M8 suspension. Car rode great though. Decently firm in the turns, comfortable enough cruising as not to degrade the expected Lincoln ride. I came from a P71 with stiff-ass suspension though...

Thanks for the suggestions. Gonna pull the belt off tomorrow and check the pulleys by hand for any noises or looseness. The only problem is it does it intermittently which means not hearing anything is likely what's going to happen. Will a water pump from a SOHC fit? Pretty sure I have one...
