I have an spacesaver sized spare tire / Rim from a 2000 Lincoln LS. This is for the Rim only and you would need a new tire for it.

My mechanic friend suggested using a small piece of heater hose on the coil spring where it rides on the flange. I actually made a small plastic "gasket" for the flange the coil spring rides on to insulate it. I made it out of an old plastic engine cover (the one underneath the car to protect...
I ran into an issue changing the front shocks on my 2000 LS. When removing the coil springs from the shocks I noticed the "white plastic coil spring insulator" the coil spring (that sits at the bottom of the coil spring between the coil spring and the shock flange) was broken in two pieces...
Thanks for the replies. I picked up OEM Ford (Jaguar) Upper A-Arms. FYI... the ones i got didn't come with new nuts for the upper balljoint or the pivots but plan to pick new ones up today just for piece of mind. Especially after previously having the nut on my lower balljoint come loose.
I picked up new Upper control Arms for my 2000 LS and noticed the upper ball joint did NOT come with a new nut. Also the upper Arms did NOT come with new bolts (or more importantly Nuts) for the pivot bushing ends that mount to the upper shock tower (the nuts that secure the upper A-arm to the...
In this latest case for my car it started overheating, I popped the hood saw coolant on top of the air cleaner. when I got it home to the garage I removed the air intake/air cleaner and saw the hard plastic tube section of the lower radiator hose had a hairline crack down the length of the tube...
Spoke with Max from Fivestar Ford today and he's able to get me the correct lower radiator hose for my 2000 LS V8 (without the oil cooling lines) and will have it for me to install tomorrow! Max could have had it today if i would have got back to him earlier. Max's customer service is the...

My lower radiator hose cracked (blew) yesterday while wife was driving. See circled portion of photo where the plastic portion cracked. Car overheated. Got it home after letting it cool down. I found out this lower radiator hose (without the oil cooler lines) is a special item and not even...
How many miles are on the car and what condition are the parts in? I need some parts for my 2000 I'd be interested in making you an offer for.
I need backup lights that my 8 year old broke accidentally.
You have the right forum here for offering you $ for parts.
Problem solved!
I went out of town the day after my post and ended up having the car towed (free) to my mechanic friend's shop. He was able to get this out for me. He said what he did was pound a socket over it and then it screwed out.
He installed the new actuator I had picked up from...
Guys, i have a major problem and am stuck and need your help. I was changing out my cooling pump Actuator and part of the old Actuator is still screwed into my Cooling Fan Pump housing. It seems part of the Actuator unscrewed from itself when using a #40 Torx to remove the Actuator. See my...
Is there a layman's way to test the fan speed and whether or not it kicks into "high" mode?
Example: should the fan automatically kick into high speed when you press the A/C on?
My car is overheating (not on highway) but at stops and suspect the fan or solenoid, etc.
From the...
I didn't end up replacing the expansion valve. It looked to be too much of a pain to get at and was told they rarely need replacing.
My A/C is charged back up and cold, blowing about 37 degrees F in 90 weather!
Well as it turns out. I only needed this part below, not the Power steering pressure line which doesn't include this part. Had to order it through Max and got it today.
Will install it hopefully tonight or tomorrow.
Mine was definitely leaking from that point, not just turning...
