I reset the computer when I get into different driving modes. If i am on the highway i will reset to see what im getting, and then reset in the city. I get about 210 to 280 miles on a tank, and thats 17 gal with 1 gal usually in reserve (driving on fumes and then filling up i pay for 17 gallons...

My 05 LS with 52k miles really did well on the highway. K&N series 57 intake and that's it. At a 55 mph cruise with ac off, I have hit 31 mpg. more typical 65 mph cruise with AC on I have gotten close to 29. City is a different story. Stop and go with red lights I would get 10-13, and real NYC...

in my 3.5 ecoboost (awd) mks I consistently hit 28 mpg at 60 - 65 mph cruise. I have hit 30.4 mpg, according to the computer anyway, at a 55 cruise in light traffic with no ac. More trouble. check engine light is blinking, and the car doesn't want to accelerate. Hesistates, and there is a popping whistling noise as soon as I accelerate. Not happy with the car. I want to get rid of this lease.

My 2010 MKS has had a transmission failure, and now 1 month later there is either a misfire or some other problem. I want my LS back.

But under heavy acceleration I would imagine at least 50% of the power goes to the rear. I drove the FWD 3.7 v6 MKS, and on pushing hard on the gas, the front wheels would spin. On dry pavement... That NEVER happens on my car. Even when the pavement is wet, it almost never slips. It can't be...
