Mostly true. Navigators have always had a AWD option, however some years you could set it to 2wd. For example our '04 Navi had the option of 2h, awd, 4x4high and 4x4 low. Currnently our '08 does not have the 4x4 low option due to the 6 speed transmission. Can't say I really miss it either.

You can only add to the factory code, not change it, but I am guessing that's what you meant anyhow. As for adding a code, it's all in you manual. Trust me it's not hard, in fact a salesman even did it for me once.

That's not quite apples to apples comparison though. Your should be comparing yourself to a Lincoln LT just as much if not more than a Navigator.

Yes we do. Have four thousand on it now and except for sitting to high I love it.

We had a '04 black monochrome edition and it looked tough. Our white chocolate '08 monochrome does not look as tough, but the ride and quietness and overall squeak free build quality is way better. Miss the four valve but love the six speed transmission. Just need to lower the thing somehow.

Thats got to be the dumbest thing that I've ever heard. You've got a five year old vehicle already, what are you saving them for? With proper car and cleaning, the leather on the seat will last for years. We had our '04 Navi for almost five years and 75k miles and the seats looked great...

It would only reset the rear anyhow, because some bean counter decided to do away with the four wheel air ride. Supposidly the level can be changed by the dealer but without doing the front too, but you would look pretty nuts driving around with your butt hanging down. Not safe either. If...

We had a '04 with door problems too. There was a TSB for a fix years ago, but basically it was the outside plastic pieces that would rattle. Fords fix was to place some foam back there. I remember also using some double sided tape between the plastic and the door skin and that helped. Also...

FWIW the tip will fit the '07 and up Navi's too, but you must cut off a bit of the tail pipe to make it look good.
