The car came like this when I bought it. It hasn't gotten any bigger but I kind of want to take care of it before it gets worse. Not to mention it's the first thing everyone points out about my car. "Hey did you know you a crack in the bumper?" I have to bite my tongue from pointing out all their car's flaws....

Anyway, I have some factory touch up paint, how should I go about repairing this?

You can just replace that piece if you can find it.

No. Look at the seams. That piece pops off.

Looks like the crack stops with that piece and not the whole cover.

I actually have the same piece cracked on mine. It's a piece of molding that can be removed from the bumper via clips underneath it. For a replacement max at fivestarford quoted me around $60

Did you replace it? Your car is black so it's probably less noticeable.

You could get it painted for around 150-200 or less depending. It's a small piece so there's not a lot of prep work needed.

I don't know what paint goes for in your area. I'd get the piece and shop around and see what type of prices you can find. That's why I said depending. You might find someone to do a bang up job for a 100 or less, I just don't know your area.

I live in California, everything is expensive here no matter where you are haha

You can always rattle-can it. Wouldn't guarantee the results though. At least it wouldn't have a crack in it :)

Liquid nails and touch up paint. :) That's what I'm doing to my front bumper soon as it warms up, heard it garners good results.

or take that piece and anything else you want to paint (lower valances, Chrome, Grille Etc) and get an estimate... all together it might be worth it... Or, take or off, glue it from the back, and touch up paint the crack. careful not the make it worse when removing!!!

i heard you have to take the bumper off to remove the clips from the back side , im commenting just so i can find out too :D
