K&N Intake Deal

no that seems about right. When i was looking for one, maybe about a year ago, they were $250ish.
 
See what tomorrows check has in store for me. Need to put some away, interested but give me a couple weeks. Unless someone has a spare lying around?

My father and his 04 LSE. I feel selfish getting 2. If someone else grabs the 5th spot I think we should wait for jmtieso to get his check tomorrow and see if he can afford one aswell. Loretta really could use one haha.

Yeah, we can wait for him. I'm sure everyone else is good with that. Plus more then 5 won't hurt lol.
 
If anyone ever wats to do a group by on anything for the LS please feel free to let me know. There's a good chance whatever your buying I'd want one too. I don't know who we could haggle prices with but. I'd eventually like different exhaust, hid fog lights, spoiler, lowering springs, rotors, tail light tint(film), I need another set of gen II led Orion? Angel eyes from lightwurkz, etc. jus get at me and maybe we can work with some sellers.
 
Oh believe me there's a lot of things that "Loretta" wants. Until she can take me out on the Alaskan coast line, pay for my drinks, and tour me in and around the Alaskan wilderness I'm putting the foot down on her money eating habits. I'll lift it up every now and then but no guarantees. It's looking promising though.

When's the latest this will be offered? I assume everyone wants them now because it's your parts and you need them now!
 
I told the guy I would give him a call in a couple days. So Monday I'll be calling him back. If you need some time, I don't see why he wouldn't allow the extra time since he's still getting the business.
 
Come on people. Someone else needs an intake! I know it's only what 16 bucks cheaper. But if this deal does not go down I can see my self holding off again, just because I like to feel that my purchases are good deals. But I want the intake now. Someone hop in. Increased performance. Increased mpgs. Miss my one on the last car alot.
 
I will know Sunday night. There's a reason why I got my CC with 0% for 18 months.

You are correct! It's my way of slowly establishing credit, I put all my car stuff on it. Wouldn't have it if I didn't have to do my lower control arms last summer. Kinda hard to fork over $1300 in one week when you're a college kid working a grunt work summer job. Working a co-op now so I have a helluva lot more breathing room than I did last summer.

I'll probably go for it. When I want something I tend to get it and pay the consequences later. I don't wanna be a frail beat up old man with money and nothing to do with it (assuming I get money lol) I wanna play while I can.

When I talk to him on Monday I'm going to ask him. If he wants one payment I'll do it through paypal and make sure each person gets an individual receipt. If he will take individual payments I'll have you guys call in.

What do you guys think would be the easiest/fastest transaction process?
 
I'm fine with PayPal. You can send money and list it as going to a relative and it won't charge either party any fees
 
I've only used paypal twice and was not charged the fee. I know there's one, but not sure when it applies.

I have my bank linked to my paypal so I don't have to keep money in my paypal account.

So, if we do it through paypal, your guys money will go into my paypal account and my portion will come out of my bank correct?
 
I can do Paypal, I only used it once, buying stuff off of T-Money (coincidence? lol) but I'm sure I can fire it backup.

Yes.

I have my credit card hooked up to mine. There never money in the account. It auto charges my card when I buy something thru PayPal. :)

The first time I used it I bought a tablet pc for $130, but when I received it it didn't work and they wouldn't do anything to fix or replace it. I filed a complaint through paypal and won. But the only thing was a refund were I had to return the item for a refund. With shipping and required insurance it was going to cost $175, so I was s.o.l.

My second time was with a fellow member and that went smoothly.
