laser next car

Looking like a SHO again, I thought you mentioned there was a spare fuel pump in the car when you bought it? maybe not.

PS, peel the dealer sticker off the trunk lid lol.

We get those in the pnp all the damn time. Seen a few v8s too.

If you ever need anything for it dont ask me. I flat refuse to work on a 1st gen sho for anything less than 60/hr with a 2hr minimum

:p

I hate you. :p

Went to change the pump last night and after getting the tank open I see the wires to the pump had crap spades crimped in them and were broken. + was just kinda laying next to the pump. I then noticed the pump I got was the wrong one so I just left the old one in there because it looked new, filter was pristine white and its numbers matched the box I found in the trunk. Took her out and she runs like a raped ape now. :)

Anywho, got it something to play with for a couple days. :D

I just dont care that people give me grief. I love this damn Taurus and it will be my new DD till I get bored with it!
Just amazes me how quick it is and how nice it goes through the twisties.

Bet you're jealous now!

Seriously though, I've been wanting a SHO forever. All we get around here are green ones though. I prefer silver or red... Even white, just not green.

Nice sho. Its amazing how much more people there is modding those sho then mark viii. There's a few sho guys that have gtg in dallas. They'll invite guys from tccoa to come out.

Laser, next thing you need to do is find a First Gen SHO, 89-91 They had the biggest sway bars, I think 24mm in the front and 26mm in the rear... After that, until 95 they got smaller each year.

So the most recent acquisition. Took the 20's off for the original owner and put stock wheels back on.

Couple days ago it got hit while parked. Me and Sapper had to pull the fender out to keep it from rubbing. It also has a huge crease in the front fender and on the hood. :(
All happened within the last month. Poor car. Was a nice 93 and was gonna fix the hood and fender till it got hit again.

Oh well. Will have parts off it for sale in a couple months. Engine already is spoken for. Interior is pretty nice. Its blue. But will have a 93 shaft, coil conversion, air ride pump (working fine), trans and stuff like that available.

I'll take the DS if it's not spoken for.

Have you ever owned a Mark VIII that didn't get hit?

Lord knows I'm not a fan of wrong-wheel-drive, but that SHO's niiiice! Ever thought of putting one of the later 3.4L V-8's into it? I don't know a lot about them, FWD and all, but I think the 3.4 was like a 3.0 Duratec with two cylinders added on. Bell housing pattern and accessory mount points should be similar if not the same. I don't know if it's ever been done before, but I think it would be pretty cool. Just a thought. :)

They both use Yamaha motors. The V8 was ok but nothing you can do to it really and the newer chasis wasnt as nice. Also gotta weld the cams or the cam gears slip and cause all kinds of trouble.

The V6 SHOs are damn near bullet proof. They have issues but nothing major and parts are dirt cheap.
