Hello I am looking at purchasing a 2003 Lincoln LS in the near future. One of the stipulations is that the front bumper was damaged in a parking lot so I saw this as a golden opportunity to possibly upgrade it to a nicer looking one. After no luck turning up the (apparently quite notoriously difficult to find) LSE bumper for under 8-900 bucks I saw this:

It's the 2006 LS bumper which looks close enough to the LSE bumper for me not to care. Are these able to attach to a 2003-2005 model without fitment issues? If not are there any other alternatives that are more attractive than the stock bumper without breaking the bank?

I tried searching but couldnt find any relevant results, so if this is a commonly asked "noob" question kindly berate me, link the related topic and I'll be a happy camper!

Thanks

Looks like a good price but I don't know what kind of reputation that company has. Might want to double check before ordering.

The 2006 bumper is the same as the 04-05 LSE bumper and will fit directly on a 03. You will also need fog lights, fog light brackets, and the chrome trim piece.

2006 and 04-05 LSEs front bumper are the same bumper.

And yes it fits without any modification on any generation 2 (03-06) LS.

And that link looks good, but honestly the shipping will be where they make the money. And you still need chrome insert, fog brackets, and foglights.

Order from here instead, you get everything together and it is cheapest.

Dang Rod, had mine typed up, but was locating the link to the kit.

Touche.

After I had the bumper off for painting I never re-installed the chrome strip.......

Got a pic? You have an lse grille, ls4me?

I'll get one up in the next few days. I also repainted the black center section with the same stuff used for truck beds and I haven't had a chip since!

That first link looks like the same picture from the company I got my bumper cover from last summer out of Chicago. Not a bad deal,, but the bumper cover seemed light weight,, maybe a little flimsy,, on mine it firmed up after install. Shipping didn't seem to be a priority. Like others have indicated,, you still need brackets and lights and trim pieces which I went straight to Tasca..

I love the look!! Enjoy

Nice.

I have a question...can the pieces (where the chrome would be on a reg. bumper) be removed?
im asking because i am almost 100% certain i saw a gen two with th chrome on an lse front bumper, but i didnt get a head on look, just a 3/4 as he was passing me (i was on foot)

i hate the chrome on the bumpers...I'm thinking of just getting the bumpers resprayed & get the chrome sprayed while their at it.

but i sure do like that LSE bumper

^^^ go for it. My bumpers used to have chrome on them. Looks way better now
