So a few weeks ago i got some chrome 10 spokes and tires.. Ever since i put them on i have had a vibration, so i went to sams club today to get a slow leak fixed and get the tires balanced..

So i tell the guy at the counter fix the leak and balance the tires but do not rotate them because they are directional wheels. He looks at me like im stupid and says ok..

So the car gets ready and i walk out to it and its missing a valve stem cap, the damn wheels are on wrong and they have screwed up one of the center caps :mad::mad::mad:. Go up to the door and tell them we have a problem and the idiot start argueing with me saying there is no such thing as directional wheels and then tells me that missing a valve stem cap is not a big deal. After exchanging some words i confronted him on the center cap and all he said is well the car is a 96 so i dont know if i broke it or not...

I thought for a minute there was going to be a ass whooping.. After talking to 2 managers they are ordering me a new center cap and a new valve stem cap.

Also i dont think they turned off the air ride before jacking the car up but i cant prove it..

People are just inconsiderate a$$holes. People harass me all the time, for when I need to, bringing my car to a FoMoCo dealership. I just rather let those guys, that are properly trained, work on my car then letting someone in a chain service garage like that touch it. But, that's just me. Most small stuff, like oil changes, rotations, and balances I can do at the Chevy dealership I work at on my lunch hour, so I'm lucky there I guess.

But, for example, I'm going to have to do brakes on it very soon. I had my parts guy look up AcDelco pads and rotors for the car, and my price, they would come to $316.05. Ford is, or was, running a special of $180/axle installed. For the price, I just rather let a FoMoCo tech do it.

The car will NEVER be taken there AGAIN... This is the first and last time i will use sams for any kind of automotive work.

I live in NYC, and if you know how big the city is you will understand. There are only 2 shops in Queens I can take the car to, 1 in Brooklyn if I really have to.

Ford dealership in Brooklyn told me to make an appointment to do alignment ahead of time, so they could get one of their old timers who are familiar with my 98 LSC.

For oil change, I got to a Oil Change place that I have used for 10 years. I always bring my own filter and they dont lift the car to do the oil change.

I would say you can not trust an older car to just anyone...

Wow.... I wish I could find a place like that around here. The Ford dealership I brought it to for that key programming fiasco (if you kept track of that thread) didn't know what the hell was going on, obviously. There is a Ford Lincoln dealership that is a little further away, but hopefully, since its Lincoln too, someone will have seen one of these things and some point!

if that happened to me, somebody would've gotten a beatin probably, i bugged when i saw the landscapers truck parked next to my mark in the street... i said to my bro, watch ill go out there and they probably scratched up the car, ding ding winner, i was right, long scratches going from the end of driver door, to the mid of the rear wheel well, i flipped out, some of it came out, but i knew it once they pulled next to it, they don't care, they just cut the grass and don't care what they break in the process. morons...

when i took my car into get oil pan looked at it, i had to get my mom to take it in while i was at work and got home to find out she drove home with airbag switched off:mad: lazy ass people just dont care its like f*** i paid the money now fix it right dumb a$$

it sucks having to take mine anywhere since my accident, i could do anything myself. i do have a friend that works in a garage who lets me do stuff there like oil change and brakes. i can still do those from wheelchair. when i just paid to have my motor replaced,we agreed on a labor price, and when i got there, the managr was on vacation and bill was another $500 for miscellanious. well i got that removed. but some people are as my other post ""inconsiderate idiots" and think you are dumb. jerkoffs.
