Hey, I have herd that you can manually adjust the ride height on your air suspension quite easily. I wanted to lower my Mark VIII a little, like an inch or maybe to the level it lowers at highway speeds (Whatever that may be)... Could somebody tell me how to do this, and do it well? Also, I would like to know if there were any cons besides the fact that you have minimized clearance. Thanks!

wow, i'm kinda at a loss for words here, a new guy asked a common question, you guys told him to search for the answer, and he actually thanked you.

that sh!t would have gone down totally differently on the other side here, first he would have gotten all butt hurt, then you would have gotten called a big ole bag of douche, then he would have asked whats the point in the internet anyways.

why cant i ever get thanked for telling people to search???

It would be slightly pitiful, me thinks, if one could not just look something up. If it's out there, why retell someone, over and over, when they can simply look it up? It's the things that I have searched, over and over, with no results that I would hope to find assistance with in the future. Thanks guys! And yes 1LoudLS, that goes for you too, simply because I like your comment; Sorta shows the laziness, or maybe straight ignorance, that consumes the world today. Tisk tisk haha

I'm so glad that I did join this forum. I love my car and, often times, have spent hours searching for stuff online. Now that I'm hear, when I get to the tricky stuff, I've got some peeps that know there :q:q:q:q and can hook me up with the right information. Priceless. ;)

Glad to have you here. You shall be a fine addition. :)

I live about 35 minutes south of you. If you need some work done, let me know and we can set it up on a weekend. My VIII is going into storage in the next couple weeks, but we can still have shenanigans without it.

Sorry Mespock, I'm 6'2'' haha 94m5, we should definitely get together some time. Do you have good tools? Maybe you could help me lower my Mark VIII (I don't have jack stands or ramps.) Regardless, it would be nice to get together with another Mark VIII owner. :)

Honestly, danny_holtermann, I would love to convert my trans. Problem: I'm a college student and don't have that kinda money right now. No worries; regardless of my financial position, my Mark VIII has a bright future! ;)

Mespock, I answered my own question when I looked at your cars. B-E-A-UTIFUL :) Your insight and potential assistance with my Mark VIII would be highly respected. What does your upcoming weekend look like? I'm thinking about ordering some Pulstar plugs, and a set of the wires that Lincoln Motor Sports promotes on their site, by the end of this week/beginning of next. Also, I need to replace the bushings on my front struts and re-align . I am doing all of this work very soon, and was gonna have a shop do it (since I care too much about my car to unleash my potentially devastating paucity of experience upon her.) Haha But, if you like working on these wonderful machines, maybe you would like to help? I could certainly use to learn a thing or two. :)

Well Danny,

That's happening to my 95 this winter, along with alot of other stuff.

Koni adjustables, new bags, kale mod switches, dual compressors, front and rear swaybars, new bushings in the rear, and completely new front components, manual trans, pulling my 4.10's for a new 3.55 pumpkin and possibly a cobra intake/Vortech.

We'll see about that one......

autolite 764 plugs. anything else is sorta over kill.
the nology wires really have no reason to work any better than normal wires..

BTW, if you only looked in my "pic garage", your missing everything from the last 3 years. There's been ALOT of modding going on.

is chicken not gonna be the only one with dual compressors anymore?
take some pictures!
