Pictures as requested of my beater.

swap all of that into a tc and its one hell of a sleeper.

I need to be allowed to kill people at will.

Sapperfire was off work today so I filled his tank and bought food in return for a ride to get a car. Was gonna look at a 93 & 94 SHO, 96 Acura TL, 95 Talon TSi and a Firebird. Right before we were about to turn South on I45 for the 180 mile trip to Houston I got a call from the guy in Dallas with the 94 Lexus SC400. The pictures made the car look flawless and the messican dude insisted that the car was near perfection but they just pressure washed the motor and now its missing, says he will take another $300 off the price. So instead we go North 100 miles to Dallas.
Get there and what a freakin turd! Leather all over is ripped, half the dash don't light up, AC screen is broken, car runs like garbage and contrary to what the messican dude said the AC did not blow cold. I put it in gear and the ass squats 3" cause of blown shocks and then a loud clunk is heard from the bad U joints and blown out rear end bushings. Total waste of time.
In the interest of finding something else in Dallas I loaded craigslist and made a dozen calls with no luck. After locating a clean (looking in ad anyway) LS400 I think I can flip easily we make the trek to find it. Car was in a bad neighborhood and us two white boys were getting eyed up pretty hard. Couldn't find the car so we split for Houston.

Few hours latter we get to Houston to see the 93 SHO that once again the owner insists is a great car and runs spectacular. Holy crap was it beat to chit! Ran very very poorly and the interior was disgusting. :(
So I call the dude with the TSi but it was just sold. Call the dude with the TL, sold. Call the dude with the 94 SHO and he ain't answering. I also decided I really didn't want a 94 Formula so I didn't even call that person.
Check craigslist again and see a very clean 95 740i turn up for $1900. So we go and check it out and the body is straight with some clear coat worn. Interior is near perfect! Dare I get excited? Start the car and am greeted by a giant cloud of smoke and a serious misfire. Sapperfire is under the hood shouting to turn the car off. Fuel line is spewing fuel. Car is still nice enough for me to want to see if the fuel line corrects the misfire so we go get a new line and start to fix the car. In the mean time a group of punks shows up that also wants the car and are annoying the hell out of us. Dude starts pressuring Sapper as to when it will be done and my buddy snaps at the dude to back off and they leave. We get the line repaired but the car still runs like crap. Pulling the oil dipstick releases mass pressure. Rings, guides or valve seats. Meanwhile the car is mosquito fogging the whole area and its suspension creaks like a 100 year old woman. :(

So we walk away. I can flip it for a profit if I could afford to dump $1000 in motor repairs but I ain't got the cash. $200 in gas latter and I am still car-less. Just gonna search Waco for something close to turn up.

if you don't want to make an account.

-And what ever sho parts i have laying around

Ok this car is not perfect
-A/c needs a new liquid line

-It does leak oil from rear cam seal and valve cover about a quart every 3500mi
-It has a little exhaust leak at the donut gasket

-Poly racing seats are not that comfortable and with the the jeggs brackets dont feel solid if i was going to keep it i would change out to corbeau brackets

The exterior is in decent shape for its age i does have digs and scratches i would give it a 7/10

The interior is also about a 7/10

I was going to use this car as a auto x car this is why i spent most of the time on suspension and handling.... im just tired of modifying modified parts. Another reason i want to sell it is i need a car with working A/C i live in VEGAS

Ok a little history on this car I used to live in WASHINGTON this is why it has Washington plates i leave it registered there because i have no smog and insurance is way way cheaper. Ive owned the car for about 2 years and put just under 20k on it never left me stranded. When i lived in WA i was at work and the car was hit in the parking lot in the right rear quarter panel it was very minor damage scrapped the bummer and broke the tail light and damaged the panel just below the tail light.......This was repaired by a professional shop cost the guy 1,500 bucks its blended and not at the least bit noticeable.

I work for Allegiant airlines so if who ever is interested in this car i can and will fly you out to come look at it but please if you are not serious don't waste my time of flying you out here..... im looking a 2750 O.B.O
My name is Danny and my number is 310-461-5595

:thankyou:

-Well everyone has seen the rebuilding of the SHO in my thread in the "SHO Related" section. It has been an informative and learning experience to say the least to take one down that far and bring it back. i guess it could have been worse were there any body work to do, but thankfully, that was not neccesary. Anyway, after much debate, i have decided to move on from it and do some other things. I now have two kids in college and want to spend more time with them and the family. So with that i am putting the rebuilt '95 up for sale. for anyone who may have missed the year long adventure here is a link to the thread.

http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=109502

If you add up the entire list of performance/upgrade/NOS/new parts, not counting those from the salvage yard, you will see that its more than half of the price i'm asking. you wont find another car for sale that has this many new parts at one time, other than a new one.

i may have left something out, but if i did, i will add it in when i remember....:nut:lol
the only thing this car will need is minor trim work. to make it perfect, you would be to have to take it all the way down to total dissassemble, but for a 16 year old car, it's pretty darn good. a better "looking" steering wheel will help. The drivers seat has started separating in two places, and at some point it will need a new headliner covering. The car has ZERO body rust, please refer to the thread pictures of the underbody. But the car is great. drives straight and true. accelerates and stops as it should. nothing unexpected. i have driven it over 2k miles since completion. no runs, no drips, no errors. It deserves a good home, and i would prefer it go to someone here. Price is $5,995. And yes, will listen to offers. If anyone has any questions, i will be happy to answer. you may pm, text or call me at 256-223-9809 thats my cell. may have to leave a voice mail if its during work. sometimes i can get to it, sometimes i cant. if you need a pic of something that isnt in these or in the thread, lmk, i will get it for you. thanks to all in advance....

That is one nice SHO! I think if I were ever to entertain the notion of buying a wrong-wheel-drive car (which will never happen, so it really doesn't matter:D), a Gen2 SHO would probably be it. Those are really nice looking cars.

So here is the current hooptie:

Runs excellent but has many little issues that I will be fixing over the next couple weeks. Sure was a nice ride home listening to that 5.0 rumble. Man did I miss having a Fox and just didnt realize it till driving one again. They are very uncivilized but they are just fun! :)

sweet! doesn't look to bad at all. except for that hot air intake. hope she treats you well.

You just cant go wrong with that!! good luck with it, there's just an abundance of new & used parts. wtg man! thumbs up...WAY UP!

Ahh very nice, can't go wrong. Easy to work on and big aftermarket. Always hard for me to find a damn notchback with the 5.0. How much did you score it for, if I may ask?

I figured its another car I know forward and back and parts are cheap. They are also super super easy to work on. No frills cars, nice and simple.

As for price, it was a great deal. I got it to fix and sell to make some money. Job searching has been crap and the house aint sold so I figure I can find cool cars for cheap that I can fix up and flip.

Things I will be doing today are:
Order new AC clutch.
Rewire AC system since the clutch plug is gone and cant find the wires. Just gonna wire a relay off the pressure switch for trigger.
Front sway bar links. Car has the bar but no links.
Fuel filter
Spark plugs
Replace the many burnt out lights.
Pull out the rediculous front lowering springs. Guy gave me the stock springs.
Repaint all the bumper and window trim
Detail detail detail.

Ill see how much I am in it then and if funds allow I will replace the 6 piece headlights cause they look really tired.

Other then that it sounds so sweet! Has dumps so its freakin loud! Interior is decient and will clean up well. Seats are not torn and dash is nice as are the pannels. Drove it 60 miles home and it didnt have any hiccups at all. Very solid running car.

Love it, love it, love it!!!!

But... I am very biased! LOL!!!

I've got loads and loads of fox parts inhabiting my garage if you are looking for anything...

It's deffinatly a diamond in the rough...im sure some girl will be happy with it one day

Nice choice!! Very easy to work on, Parts everywhere for them. Always liked 5.0 notchbacks.

Yup, rust free all the way. I already have a stock air box on the way.

Found the AC harness in the trunk as well as the hard to find air box coupler.
