i have a 96 mark 8 passenger side rear turn signal burned out replaced it when i got in the car no cursety lights no chimes door lock not working and when i turn the car off and open the doors m/c stays on the radio stays on and i have to disconnect the battery cable to turn everything off what a pita anyone help me found blown fuse replaced it and still the same thing found a blown cb and replaced it and no help still the same thing.

i believe there is a switch in the doors that controls the courtesy lights and radio. turns them on or off when you open the door. in your case, the switch isn't telling the car the door is open.
fix, replace, repair, grease, or whatever the switch.

spray the latch full of pb blaster (wd40 but better) and slam the doors a bunch if the problems continue then its time to peal off the door panel and see whats up
