Hi, pretty new here so i thought maybe my first post should be one where i show my Lincoln LS. It's a v8,probably not sport 2000. She's a bit beat up though, i'm slowly rebuilding her. I don't have any true in depth pics, just the ones after i painted the stock wheels with Plasti-dip, i love cars in satin black so the wheels look good to me, peels right off when i don't want it that color anyways.

Well thats her, needs quite a few things to make her look decent. Still love her to death though, named her black beauty (name probably overused). Thanks for looking! :):D

So is that tape or did you actually paint your wheels with silver jesus crosses on them?

I was going to ask the same thing^^^

Wheels actually look decent in the second pic. Those are my least favorite ls wheels.
Welcome. Search the forum to see how to make her looks great with little mods here and there.

lol, it was just a "i wonder how it'll look if i make some sort of design with tape" but i ended up removing it all and just paint the wheel like all the others. Didn't see them as jesus crosses but now i can't unsee them haha.

Yeah i hate them to death too, they are too small for the car. Im stocking craigslist hoping somebody posts some cheap wheels but still nothing. I've actually lurked here for a while so most of the stuff im gonna buy for the car i saw here first, as of right now i need new headlights mine are too foggy:mad:
Thanks for the feedback though

Don't blow the money if you just want to keep a stock headlight. get a hose, and a variety of sandpaper grit, and get wet-sanding. Use some polishing compound and then Plast-X for the final round. Heck, just try the plast-x first and see if that suits your needs.

Basically you want to alternate sanding direction with every different grit paper you use, going verticle only with one grit, then horizontal only with the next. Start with 600 or 800 if they're bad and go right up to 2500 or higher, then plast-x polish. Maybe an hour per headlight? Just be sure to mask the painted areas nearby to protect them from the paper.

Bought a set of headlights off Ebay for less than $175 and was worth not having to buff the ones on the car out. Fit like a champ and work great. I may have a set of stock painted wheels for sale real soon. Going to look at 2 broke LS's next weekend and the guy has a set of chrome stock wheel with new tires he asked me to steal off of him!:D

Yeah im gonna try that first, even if i bought new ones i wasn't just going to throw these away. Thanks

It looks like an LS police car. Looks good for those wheels. I believe a former member did something similar to that for winter wheels (fbird).

those wheels resemble spare donuts lol

the car looks good tho. Black is such a good color for the LS.
