Its been awhile since ive been on but alot has happened in my life over the last 2 months. Started off buying another Mustang, not sure if i posted it on here but its a 1993 Notch 4 banger, 60,000 orignal miles and was owned by a 70 yr old couple for all but 1 year of its life. She pulls a solid 30mpg!!

Just a few days after that my wife told be im going to be a daddy for the first time, its been almost 5 years of trying!! It makes finishing up my Automotive repair degree a little bit tricky but hell if i can pull off a 4.0 for 3 semesters i can handle school and a baby. Only 2 semesters left and 3 ASE tests to pass and ill get my auto degree and be a Master tech (after a year in a shop).

Sadly i had to sell the Mark 8, Spending 60+ a week on gas is getting out of hand. I tryed to talk my wife into keeping it but 500.00 a year for storage fees was the killer (i can only have 2 cars at my apartment per my lease). So i sold her. I didnt do bad either, i managed to get 1100.00 out of it.

I figured up the math on what the car really cost me not including oil, filters, tires or brake pads since thats just normal wear. I bought it almost 9 years ago for 1900.00.

Bought for 1900.00
Spent 500.00 on the coil conversion
Sold the non-working air ride for 300.00
another 200 for rear calipers
Total cost so far is 2300.00

Was totaled and recived a check for 2200.00
Bought the car back for 180.00
Total amount invested is now 280.00

Headlight header panel 100.00
Hood pins 10.00
Transmission rebuilt 1100.00
Front suspention parts 300.00
Headlights rechromed 100.00
HIDs 60.00

New total after buying it back 1950.00
Sold the car for 1100.00

Total cost for driving this car for 9 years 850.00
Less than 100.00 a year for repairs is pretty damn good. Its the best car i ever owned and was sad handing the keys over to the new owner.

Its been fun here and is sad to say goodbye, ive meet a couple of members on here, Nolimit was the one to really stand out since i meet him right after his garage and car burned up, hes a good guy and i wish the best to him and most everybody on here. Good bye LVC, its been a hell of a time on here, i may stop by from time to time to see whos still here and see IF Stacks car will EVER be done!!!! :D:D:D:D

don't have to leave just because you don't have a lincoln

True (said by LL) and thanks for the kind words. You can still pop in and shoot the sh!t with us. Hell, you might end up getting another one some day. Good luck with the baby and congratulations. Don't worry, the first 6 months you won't get any sleep but other than that, not too bad. Shoot me a PM sometime.

Thanks guys, ill still stop in from time to time like i said. Ive still got a few parts i would like to sell so ill be posting them sometime when i find everything. I dont think ill be moving within the next 2-3 years so i wont have any room for another car, ill catch sh*t for this but if i do get another Lincoln it will be an LS simply because its a 4 door. The plans are to gather the parts for the Mustang to be swapped to a V8 and when the time is right buy another car (4 door) and have the Mustang as a weekend toy.

Or just sell me the mustang :D

J/K

Good luck to ya, stop back in often! Maybe i'll look ya up next time I'm in Shepherdsville...

Ill post up a picture of it when i get time to put my 4 lug 03-04 cobras on. Just got the windows tinted Friday and new tinted headlights yesterday. It looks 100% diffrent now.

You should put a modded mark motor in your mustang
Then you can still belong to the mark viii section
also lets see thoes mustang pics

The engine i bought from NoLimit was planned to go into m 68 Mustang intill the wife wanted to join the Navy.....long story short i sold off everything and she ended up not joining. Ive thought about droping a 4v into it but the cost is tripple what im willing to spend. I have yet to own a 5.0 Mustang and parts are cheap for the 5.0 so that swhat im going with. i can make the level of HP i want for 1/4 of the price than a 4.6.

This is the day i bought it, she doesnt look like this anymore. Ill try to get better pictures tomorrow if its not raining.

I love my LS but the rear legroom really sucks.

Better than a coupe but not what it should be for a sedan.

The Mothers powerball and polish will take care of those in no time..Best 20 bucks ever.

Had polished 20's on my last car and it took a long time to do each by hand..Shouldn't take you longer then 10min a wheel using the mpb.

Ive got the big buff ball but it doent do squat for the corners and the lip of the rims, im getting the cone shaped one for next time i have to do it. I polished each rim by hand first then used the ball. They were all very bad, i spent about 1 1/2 hours on each rim. Im sure ill keep them cleaner than the last owner, when i got them they looked almost like brushed finish.

going to have to add diper training to your res. good luck they don,t stay small long but your mind doesn't register it.

Busch's aluminum polish... you can get it at Pilot gas stations... just use a microfiber cloth, all you need... Best stuff ever.

Well it wont quit raining here so no rim pictures yet. Got tint done last Friday and the new headlights on it Monday before the rain got here. Heres a crappy pic.
