here we go folks, once again planning a mark VIII meet.
where: howard park, tarpon springs fl
when: april 16th 2011 10 am till?
this meet will be double the size as we will merge with a trailblazer ss meet. my buddy jake has nearly 28 trailblazer ss trucks showing for his meet, and a whole ton of food, including some real southern BBQ, and possibly fresh beef from a slaughter house. one of the guys coming has a family farm that raises cattle for beef. he is going to have his father ship down a ton of beef in dry ice from tennessee. this will be at pavillion 7 which is already reserved and after the meet is over and everyone is nice and full, everyone is welcome to attend the saturday night street heat at sunshine dragway in clearwater after the meet, you can race with everyone or simply grab a seat and watch. this may possibly be the biggest and best meet so far, and the weather will be perfect. pull together, make plans and lets blow this meet up huge, so many florida members now we need to all get together. there is going to be a professional photographer with us the whole day taking pictures. she can make poster size photos for anyone who wants them, her photos are amazing. so who is in? its a saturday if you are wondering. lets do this.
 
I will have to schedule change at work, but I'm DTF, however, there was a 24 hour paintball scenario game that weekend that I was thinking about, but this may be worth it. I better see lsc f100 there and his girl, jax isn't too far away.

Around these parts its not uncommon for people to show up to the mark meets without a mark.

we will try to make it. both of us need to talk to our works to see about getting that weekend off.
 
Ultimate, you still haven't fixed that POS? Sell sometging and fix something and drag your ass to Jamie's meet!

no :q:q:q:q right, 2 god damn years now. the only thing he did in 2 years, was buy another mark VIII that wont make it too. what a putz
 
I'm in. For sure. No questions. I already know where Howard Park is, I had my 2-person meet there in '08. Martin showed, that's all. Ought to talk to Rich and convince him to come, Jamie, then I can play with his stereo like he mentioned.

Gonna have both Marks there?

Oh, didn't know Pete's was coming.

I'm not gonna park next to yours, then mine will get shrinkage from feeling inadequit. I'll park next to a Trailblazer, that will cheer my car up.

what do you mean 3, dont get all excited homeslice, all i did to that 97 was roll it over by the door and scrubbed down the whole engine bay and washed all the ants off the car lol, we can tow it over there! thats still better than alex, alex cant get either car here but we'll bring over the white 97 with no motor or trans lmfao!!!
 
Alex can make engine sounds on a tape recorder, and then we can push him around while he sits in it and pretends.

You also installed the headlights. Lets tow it there and have the photographer take pics of Alex behind the wheel!
 
You got me working on Painting my switch bezels again, they are still saddle on black panels...

I will try to be there, this is the time of year that my mother-n-law lives with us for 4-6 months, she comes in next week from Puerto Rico on the 12th. So for the most part it is a drag. At least she does not speak English, and I do not understand Spanish, mostly after 17 yrs I refuse to. And she goes thru my wife instead of I if needing something or wants to ask me something.

But hopefully I can make it up there, I will be up there on the 19th to see my Dad and play some golf over at Cyress Lake CC, my family is members there and that is were my Dad and I hang out together.
 
Jamie, you should edit a list into the first post of the folks who are going/trying to go. Just to get people interested faster.
 
Great, when the fvck did Jamie's meet become about me? I feel like Jamie's long time lover that refuses to go see him! Don't worry sweety, I love you, I can be your turd burglar for that weekend!!! If you want to see me that badly I'll trailer my 93 up there then drive from the hotel I plan on staying at to the meet!!! I've driven my 93 around the way it is so as long as it's not a long drive it'll be ok! FVCK it! Let's do this baby!
