Looking to update the interior a bit, anybody got any ideas? Pics?

steam clean the carpet. treat the seats to a good cleaner/conditioner. That guy right above me knows a lot about the products you can use.

I'm in the Twin Cities if you really would like some detail work done... otherwise I can give advice on products to use.

That being said for actual mods I could name lots... but interior is big $$ for the most part.

big money for interior mods, or big money for detailing? what kind of prices do you have for detailing?

Convert your interior lighting to LEDs. Not much simpler than that, and really brings a nice updated look to the interior at night.

What medium said does look good. I'm still in the process of doing an LED conversion but for interior, I kinda went two toned.

My 98 LSC has full LED conversion inside, and the trunk, I get loads of compliments on it, there's 4 stage led in the doors and under the dash, and 7 bulb led in everything else. I'll get some night pics tonight. I think you could order all the bulbs needed for around $50 on ebay. It looks SO much nicer than halogens.

As far as cleaning carpets...pull the seats out...much easier, then you can touch up paint on the seat anchors, and grease the seat track for maintenance (3 birds at once)

Both mine have LED's on the interior. The '97 LSC has blue LED's and the '96 has white. Only the instrument panel lights are original. LED's look soooooo much cooler than regular bulbs. And I get a lot of compliments on the cool blue lighting in the '97.

that two tone looks pretty sweet
i was going to switch out my interior with a full black interior but i was told pulling the dash would screw with the security and blah blah blah so i never did but yeah thats an awesome interior

Thanks, I don't know anything about security issues of swapping out the dash but as far as I know, there aren't any. GMAN would know for sure. He's always pulling out dashes and swapping something and Jamie and some others would know. On a Gen 1, I know it doesn't matter but Gen 2, not sure.

Interior mods are big money... doing almost anything costs a ton...

I can tailor a package to suite your needs, basic full interior exterior work starts at $200.
