E-Bay Mark VIII

I do not care for the Landau top, and the tan/camel interior either, but even for here in this area of SW Fl, that is a steep price for this car, I can not believe the bids are to 7k. Never seen a Presidential Series Edition though.

It looks like it has been taken care of but the tan interior and the top is a deal breaker. Whatever the case is, Gen IIs seem to be priced anywhere from 5,000-7,000 from what I have seen on autotrader. Some are at 3,000 or so but you know they need work.

Well, mine is a low mileage find, and I thought my 3900.00 buying price was high, but the condition was excellent. And granted this is a dealer, and this auction will have dealer fees and what not, so probably a little closer to 10k will be the selling price.

But I definitely can not stand the hood ornament, does not have heated seats.

I thought 97-98 had the colored center emblem on the horn/air bag?

for 7,900 you get one new headlight and one :q:q:q:q headlight! i have seen tons of marks that are wrecked like that down here, that top totally kills the mark VIII. if they get that much for it i am putting mine on ebay with a reserve of $6,900

I wonder if it comes with bulletproof glass and side body armour?
First time I ever ever seen the interior of a gen 2, Lincoln definitely upped the age demographics it was going after compared to the gen 1.

Only the late 97 and 98 models have that.

Oh, I see that the MGR Date on that one is 09/96. Carfax states it was registered to a corporation for its entire life.

And if you look at the hood, it sits cock-eyed. Like the rubber stops are not there or need adjusting.
Or it could be from the weight of that hood ornament.

whoa. way overpriced.
clean though. yank that ugly top off and it would be a nice looking car.

The one in Texas is sexy as hell. I know many people don't like the cream interior color but IMO it is the best color.

haha. how long has that car been for sale now?

It states 4 weeks now.

I am quoting him now, "This Mark is "one of a kind" according to Ford an anomaly" and " We are asking $39,999.99 which is less than what it cost new which is what the Ford Motor Company thinks it's worth".

Too funny to even call him a stand up comic.

that gold spring feature has been sale for 40g's for about the last 6 years no joke, thats old ass news
