It's true. Drove it today after being in the garage since sept..I'm not sure if it's cause im used to driving my p's 08 aura and 09 impala or because it has the factory rims on. I have the 1.5 kit and a sc rear bar. I dont expect it to corner like its on rails but geeze.. The only thing i can think of is that it has newish cheap moroes in the rear.

P.s. Missfire went away over night. So she is now legit to drive.

lol, in the back of my head i was hopeing the first poster was going to say that.

But to answer you're question, bad..very bad

I don't think a '09 Impala handles worth a sh*t, so there's something wrong. I wouldn't go throwing upgrades until you find out why it's not up to stock potential. My 172k mile mark on coils, cheap tires, and worn control arms and shocks handles way better than when I drove an '06 impala back in '08.

Things that will make a Mark get loose.

Bad sway bar mounts
Sway bar links
Rear shocks
Toe compensation links.

On Dans note, there is a significant difference in cars feel between 60 series side walls and 40 series.

Thats gotta be it..I only drove the car w/ stockers for a little over a month right when i bought it..It did have air(non lowered) though but the bags were leaky.. Now im loweredon coils and its pure dooky on oem's, def not like i remember it w/ the 19's last summer. When i had my marquis on 20's i never noticed a huge difference when i switched back to my winter wheels. Granted that was bof..idk.

p.s. tires are between 32-35.

rear sway stuff is fine and the rear shocks sucked even w/ the 19's so new ones are def coming once i catch up on some bills.

There are no noises indicating anything is excessivly worn. My front end it tight aswell. the only potential prob is my drivers side uca boot..Its alittle torn. All the other bushing/boots ect are fine.

Monroe is a dooky shock anyway, even if you get the expensive ones

I like the way mine feel, very smooth, but not sloppy. I think i got all 4 for $180?

I bet it's the stock tire combo, tires are pretty important for handling, lol. Maybe those FWD cars just have you used to the feel of big wheel trike type handling powah!

quite possible but don't under estimate my pop's aura. It ain't fast but it's peppy, 14.8's stock. He does have upgraded stock 18's on it w/ lower pro's. The imp's a pig.

Oh I know, which is why you only saw me knock on the Impala, which is a prety lame mommy's car. ;)

I didn't mind the aura, which is a descendant of opel's epsilon platform, same as the saab 9-3 and opel vectra, it was actually a well recieved car, but Saturn went kaput so it's gone... I like alot of european cars, so I never hated on that, plus I have owned a saturn before for a DD, it was a fun little beater.

The Aura is the only saturn i've ever liked..All they rest were crap. Had alot of them at my old job.

The base Aura was a pig though too, same motor as the base imp i believe. The 3.6 in the xr's and i believe ltz imp's are nice though.

Invest in the suspension braces...will make a world of difference.
