Just thought I'd post a pic while she's still clean. I went against the weatherman and left my ride out last night ! Now its covered in a pretty sheet of ice.

We just got blasted with some of that stuff here too.

Dropped the temp down from a warm 70 degrees to a chilly 18.

windshield says -1....
 
Very nice LS. We got about ten inches of snow here on mine. I wish I had a garage!!

So where are your 'slick when wet' photos ShortCircuitLS? ;]
 
Oh haha. You all are friggin comedians ! I thought. My good humor would liven up the place. BlackLS , that's what you get for bragging about your 70 deg. Weather. Haha.
 
Sorry ShortCircut, but when you start a thread like that you just know that someone is gonna have a comment!

I must be the luckiest dog in the world. My girlfriend had her mom come over this past fall and they cleaned her garage so there would be room for the Harley and the LS.

I like the pinstripe, kinda. I have thought about removing it but then I look at the other LS that doesn't have them. I like the look more with than without.

Yeah , that's my lazy side taking over ! But in my own defense that *#/:!"* weather guy said we were suppose to be hit hard with snow all weekend. Never even seen rain. Nothing. On the map it didn't look like it was going to be ice. Just rain.

Yeah I thought of that when I got to work. Thankfully I work with 13 other apes (men) just like all you. So comment all you want just don't be offended if I post a comment back ! I would now but my brain is still mushy from removing an oil cooler at work. I can't think of any smart as* comments to post back !

Lol. Sure ! I have 2 a front and a rear. Here's a pic. But you can't have my 06 bumpers.
I'm starting to think the old man that owned this car before me did an LSE conversion or something. The hood looks like the alignment is off just a hair and the spot where the bumper meets the headlight has a gap larger than what it would be factory. But don't all Gen II LSE have all red tail lights ? I've searched a few times and didn't find much but it doesn't say its an LSE anywhere. I don't really care , I'm just happy to have a (running) LS !
 
No as far as i know all 06's are sports with the lse apperance package.

It may have been in an accident.

Thanks for clearing that up and making me go through numerous threads ! Yeah that's what I didn't want to hear ! He bought it new in 06 and There's nothing on CARFAX or anywhere. But he could have fixed it off insurance. So it won't show on any vin# reports.
 
An experienced body shop will be able to tell in most cases.

If you could see how some of those factory hoods come 'tweaked' when you get a new one, it could be quite possible that it came that way from the factory..
 
I worked at a body shop for two years on and off. So you cleared it up for me. Now that I know all 06 LS s came with the appearance package ill assume he ran into something and possibly had a new bumper put on. Or something. O well. Runs great , rides great. Whatever he did while he owned it he fixed before trading in.
