If you could see how some of those factory hoods come 'tweaked' when you get a new one, it could be quite possible that it came that way from the factory..

I worked at a body shop for two years on and off. So you cleared it up for me. Now that I know all 06 LS s came with the appearance package ill assume he ran into something and possibly had a new bumper put on. Or something. O well. Runs great , rides great. Whatever he did while he owned it he fixed before trading in.

Those bumpers came on stock.. He could have possibly ran into something but he replaced it with the original..

I would say he probably took out the grille and that tweaked the hood.. He may have had a bigger deductable so he replaced the grille himself..

Damn I should have been a lawyer.. But there's no thrill in that..

I had that happen to my LS not that long ago. I couldn't get in the drivers side so I had to get in through the passenger door and slide accross. Then about 3-4 miles down the road the driver door unfroze and started to open

That wind was COLD.

That's how I had to get into my car when my door handle broke ! I had that happen to me in a jeep. But the doo didn't latch at all! I almost fell out. We still crack up laughing when we talk about it ! Funny stuff.

I've never fell out of a car but I did tip a snowmobile over going 4 MPH..

I've never been on a snowmobile. Looks like fun. I had quads growing up and There's one hill across rom my parents house that was really steep. My buddie and I were both on the same quad going up the hill and of course we get 3/4 of the way up and the quad tipped onto the back end. Straight up. We both rolled off in different directions and it rolled onto its top the side over side all the way down. First time I ever seen a man cry ! I laughed. The quad was fine.

I've had dirt bikes flip front end first and roll for like 5 times.. I fall off and the bike stays in gear and keeps going down the trail.. lol

I've been told that I could try to be nicer. I don't try to be mean ! It just flies out ! My verbal filter is on the Fritz ! I'm not a mean person in general I just say mean things sometimes and especially after a long day and 3 shots o' whiskey ! Oops !
I prefer things with 4 wheels. I don't ride dirt bikes. I'd kill myself on one !

I've heard my brother lustfully talk about having a Buell. Aren't they American made ? And I thought he said that they were super fast. That ... I definitely don't need!! I'd look like one of the 4 year olds on Americas funniest videos. All wobbly then I'd probobly end up on my as* from popping the clutch! Lol.

I've been riding dirtbikes since the age of 12.. Got my motorcycle licence like 1 year or so ago.. Both my parents (my mom and step dad) have Harleys.. This is the sporty Harley.. It has a Harley engine but the rev limiter is set pretty high for a 45* piston difference..

Sweet ! That's a sharp bike ! My dad has a heritage something tail springer. I can naver remember if its called a soft tail or hard tail. Its meant cruise around. I think my brother rides it more than dad does ! He just got his motorcycle license a few years ago. He found a super nice sporty Harley on FastTrack about 2 years ago. Only paid 5k. He's the luckiest person. Its weird.

Yeah. That's what my bro just said as well. Just be happy that they still carry parts! On a machine I run at work , the company quit making the remote controls and sold out. The new company won't repair the remotes at all. So when we had a little accident a year ago.(after I shut down , I set the remote on the ledge by the door , when I pulled away it fell. Then was pushed into a huge pile left for 8 days when we finally found it with a forklifts forks we nicked the plastic corner and part of the circuit board ) We had to replace the entire remote/ receiver system. I was so mad. Nobody could find any parts in the US.

It shares most of the same engine parts.. Plus there is a huge aftermarket (screamin eagle and whatnot) that will probably never die.. My friend had a XBR-12 (firebolt) and there was no way I could even try to keep up with him.. He was past 65 before I even got the LS to 25..

Yeah I don't need anything that fast ! NEED being the key word there. But I highly doubt there are many if any cars that will keep pace with a street bike. Although I've seen a few jacked up bikes that need to be in a clinic and not out on the road ! People just don't take care of things anymore

You are correct.. I thought I would have the advantage because I flew through the stop sign at 20.. I didn't even get to 25 by the time he was up to 65.. lol

I like 'living life on the edge' so that is something perfect for me.. I like American made products even though I use to have a Suzuki.. The Buell, for me, was soo comfortable that I could but a few thousand on it and walk away without a pain on my body..
