So Jan, 10 was my 29th birthday, it started out fairly :q:q:q:qty like all the others intill my wife called me. She was tore up and in tears, i thought she had wrecked her car or something like that but no......shes pregnant!!!! We've been trying for the last 5 years to have a baby but her doctors kept telling us that without thousands of dollars of drugs it wasnt going to happen. Well it did!!

We also decided that i need a more reliable car than the Mark 8, shes been totaled twice, needs more work than what shes worth and my wife wanted me to buy a good Mustang since mine was lost in the bankruptcy 2 years ago. So this weekend i hop on craigslist and do the daily search for a Mustang and found this beauty!!!!

Shes a 1993 Mustang notch, 4 cylinder auto, new tires, plugs, wires, filters, Alt, battery, brakes and hoses all in the last month. The kicker.....shes got 60,700 original miles. She was owned buy a elderly couple since new, always taken to the Ford dealer for work and was garage kept intill last year when the guy i bought it off of got it. Its got a couple of dents here and there, the front bumper has a bad spot from lightly hitting something but is still in mint condition. Maybe after the baby is born and i have a garage to work out of, there might be a 2.3 turbo swap or the good old 5.0 swap in the future for this notch.

I got it for 2000.00, the plans are to DD it for a little bit. Im thinking smoked headlights, taillights, 20% tint all around, good old Pony wheels, cd player and speakers and maybe swap the interior from gray to black. I know its not a V8 yet but what do you guys think?

Dude it is great that you found a clean car for your family in the end that is most important...never stop dreamiing and remember to tell your wife how beautiful she is especially when she in 8 months pregnant.

Just don't forget about your mark! That is your baby too!

Its too far gone, it will be our backup car but its not going to see much love. It looks nothing like my sig anymore, not in 5 years.

Two Thumbs up. Got rid of my Lincoln today also, replaced it with an 04 Termi. INSANE FUN!

SEX!!!!:D

I would drop that marks drivetrain in it if I were you. And Congrats on the baby.

Its alot of work to drop a 4v in a fox body, the 5.0 has been out for so long i could make 400 hp for half of what it would cost to drop in a 4v into it. Theres a local guy selling a built D.S.S. block, with a Hellion single turbo setup and all the supporting gear from the filter to wiring harness to full exaust for 6600.00 bucks. The block is built to hold 800 hp and the turbo can produce 1200 hp, he ran it pushing 500 hp at 8-9 lbs of boost.:eek:

Thats a gorgeous car. Is that Reef Blue or Emerald Green? hard to tell in your pics. Heck I'd leave it alone, interior looks gorgeous too. Good find. I'd love to have it.

Congrats on the baby on the way!

Why is everyone selling or dumping thier marks for mustangs? $2k would have bought a nicer mark than that mustang. It's a clean car, you could probably swap it, keep it simple though, and easily see a 100% profit. Not that you should sell, all I mean is value for how nice it is.

Rooster: An '04 terminator is a car I'd be proud to own, but I'm sure your mark could have stayed around!

I love Fox coups and the only time you see a really good shape one its a 4 banger. I would love a 93 Coupe and just do a simple 5.0 install. They are a dime a dozen and it aint no thing to drop a 5.0, trans and rear end from a donar car in one.
Good luck with the project and if you wanna engine swap it then nows the time cause in 9 months you wont be doing any mods for a LOOOOOONG time. :p

Reef blue i think, its more blue than green. Its going to stay stock for about a year, after that who knows~~

Well don't forget about us then!

Im still keeping my Mark 8, its going to be the back up car.

Congrats on the baby on the way!

You have no idea how trashed a Mark 8 goes for around here, i could sell mine tomorrow for 1500.00 easy and its been totaled twice!!! 4k for a 97 with a trashed interior and 190xxx miles......hellz no!! Thats about all thats around me. Also the only reason i bought my Mark 8 back in 2002 was because i couldnt afford a Mustang!!!!!! Ive been offered 3k for the notch by some of the local Mustang guys around here for it and could easly put a 4k price tag on it and sell her in a few months

congrats man, i got 2 kids i'll sell you if you want more lmao!

LMAO

Make it four.

Congrats man.

Thanks guys, we've been getting alot of adoption offers since we started telling people!!! lol
