Some of you know whats up and some don't so I will bring this all here and see if/who may wanna help. I have gotten a few emails and texts of people wanting to help him out so I wanted to get everyone who wants to help together in this thread. If you wish to remain anonymous then just PM me and you will stay in the shadows.

Sapperfire is my best friend and is about the best friend you can hope for. Hes the only person I trust with my car and if need be I will loan him my car for the next couple months and just do without.
He has two young girls and a wife. Right now they have no transportation because his car cracked its block last night. We band aided a bad motor to try and get him by but it just didn't hold and gave up the ghost. Right now he and his wife have to walk a few miles to work just to pay the bills and feed the kids. If it wasn't winter it wouldn't be so bad. Fortunately this week is kinda warm but wont be very soon. But with two small children he needs to have transportation if one gets sick or hurt and I cant figure out what to do and it kept me up all night trying to find a solution.

I haven't found it yet. :(

There is a known good and low mile motor a few hundred miles south of us but its $600 and the money i just not there for it much less to even bribe his other friend with the truck to go get it.
Some people have offered donations and some offered a small loan. I wanted to see if we have enough people here to make this happen for him and help him out in this time of need. So if you wanted to help please post what you would like to do and see if it can be done.
I have the tools and lifts to do it and will help install yet another motor in his car but I have no money to help right now.

I hate (as does he) to get handouts but at this point he has to swallow some pride and get the car back running for the kids.

Thank you LVC.

I pm'ed you laser. money sent to your paypal. Let me know if it enough and if you come up short let me know.

you guys know i would help in a heart beat, but i am in the same boat as jeremy with the money situation. my plan was to get my wifes car all fixed and registered without her knowing, and hang her keys on the christmas tree for christmas morning, but not gonna happen, i had a deal lined up for doing a job and it hasnt come through so now i am porked for christmas. i had enough money to pay my rent for this month and now rent is nearly due again. if i could help i would. i have a 97 engine with 112k on it that i could sell cheap again like i did for you bill, but thats what deal i am waiting on, the motor is supposed to be spoken for already but i gave up holding my breath. i'll sell my 98 though if everyone wants to buy it for sapper! its been sitting for over 3 months now i'll never get it on the road i might as well unload it.

Wow, thanks all! People are coming through in a big way and we are already half way there! :)

Sorry to hear the mishap bro. Any thoughts on selling some of the painted part to make some more cash. Laser wanna sell that xpipe

The x-pipe is sold. As to selling the painted parts I am not against it. I dont mind prepping and painting the new parts again.

Ok with that said. A raffle is in order for the painted parts. The money comes in a bit faster for a new/used motor and some one get a good deal on painted parts for cheap. That way the people that are helping have a chance to get something in return.

I would love to help out but i am in the middle of a project and just got told we are going to 24 hour weeks after the holidays, pm me your paypal i can see what i have in my couch cushions

After reading a few of the posts from above, I`m chuckling. You`ll find out why when my donation arrives. Dropped it off at the post office earlier.

check your paypal pal tonght bill i have to work so ill send something too thats my word and a promise

I'd like to kick in a few bucks. As a laid off mechanic, I can sympathize with Sapp's situation. People don't believe you when you tell em that your a mechanic and it pays crap because people don't spend money on their cars anymore. Bill, please pm your paypal address and I'll send what I can to help out.

Shawn
