Just blew a ball joint. Now I get backed into!! Pics inside

Man, this car is just plain back luck. After blowing out my ball joint a few days ago, totalling my fender, some idiot in the high school parking lot decides to back right into the front of my M8. :mad: Who the hell lets their 16yr. old kid drive a Yukon XL?? Anyways, I have estimates for $3138.56 and $2285.20, which I think is rediculous. This car is a money pit. If anyone has the following parts, please let me know.

Chrome strip across headlights
Grille
Hood
Pass fender
License plate bracket

The color is opal opalescent metallic. (wk/6553)

Oh, and here is the carnage. I wonder what's going to happen today.:confused:

If you know who backed into you, why are you so concerned about the cost? Hit up the kids' parent's insurance.

If anything, you should consider your car a money maker. Get 3100 out of insurance, spend less than 1000 to fix it up with used parts, and you just walked away with 2 grand.
 
All of that stuff is SOOO easy to replace, you need to get the insurance money and fix it your self for so little. Just like Frogman said, walk away with over 2gs, I would...
 
I have all that stuff...but I can't donate it...I shipped parts at no cost and I've paid the shipping and my gf is getting pissed..

I have a "custom" grill just like in my sig pic, I have a perfect chrome strip, the head light needs to be "Jamied" and the hood needs paint, and a decent plate frame and Perfect fender, all body panels will need paint as they are not white...I can sell this stuff cheap you pay shipping, pm me if interested or give me a call 254-228-3453

wait a minute, i thought in Texas that if somebody did something stupid and backed into you you are allowed to shoot them, it happened at a hotel we where staying at a few years back in Phoenix and the guy that shot had Texas plates. lol
 
Yeah most Texans carry guns....so....it's in the Constitution...look it up
 
Really sorry to see that but you can come out ahead just fine. I have been backed into and rear ended so many times in the last 12 months by chitty Texas women drivers it really pisses me off. Came out ahead every time though.
I just hope who hit you dont have Farmers insurance. After dealing with the last accident I would never in a million years give Farmers my buisiness. They suck arse!
 
If you want help let me or Sapperfire know. There are many JY's in your neck of the woods and if you need help installing them just come on to my house and I have all the tools needed.

First fixed are free. :D

I havent really had time for any meets to be honest. Plus, my car is not the prettiest thing to look at..:(

Well, a lot of people do carry guns, which is awesome. People are gunna shake their heads when I say this, but I am Canadian:cool:

Texas women drivers suck, I totally agree. Actually, they suck everywhere...

I might actually hit you up for that. My dad was an airplane mechanic so he has ample amounts of tools to use, I just don't know too much about the Mark Viii's. I'm used to fox bodies and broncos. Thanks for the offer!
 
And if ya want it painted, Laser and I could probably even try that...I'm grabbing a new spray gun on Wednesday, since he got the air compressor fixed that he tried to kill me with >.<
 
Typical Laser.... Can;t follow directions. First the Control arms, now he couldn't even follow my simple, three step instructions to rig the compressor up and make it blow up in your presence.... ooops. Did I type that out loud? Crap!

I had it rigged right but he moved too quick. I guess 150psi wasn't enough to shoot that 1" brass cap fast enough. :(

If I was leaning over 3-4 more inches then it would have hit my forehead!
