Well I finally picked up a new dd. I'm sure I'll take a good flaming on this side of the sight but I enjoy it and got a deal.

05 56k miles V8 Will be nice to get away from the 16mpg of the truck even If the ls isnt the best it will be better than the truck.
 
those Mistubishi's are a much nicer ride than f150's
 
I really like the looks of the galant, especially when you stad them next to a bunch of evo subarus and s2000 s

It may sound kinda silly, but it was there first car I ever borrowed to take to homecomming when I was 16 and I have wanted one ever since. Plus it was one of the cheaper cars that I would auctually be happy with as a DD
 
Well everyone stole the cut downs I was gonna use. :( :lol:


I am one of the few that will admit I kinda like the LS cars. Not as a sports car or a car I would modify but one I would definatly have as a DD. That one looks clean and the miles are low. Plus the V8 is no slouch.

So how much?

I traded my truck which I got a really good deal on. And proceded to get another good deal on the LS so It was basically and investment of 8ish

I told here both lincolns get the garage but she tried the bs that her's is worth more.

But her dad has a heated garage that he doesnt use so I'll move the mark over there till I need to bring it home to work on it sometime around feb or march.
 
I'm beginning to see why the ls people never come over here..... :lol:
 
I to like the LS but I will still by a TC over it
one reason is alot of LS's have been showing up online needing a motor
 
Very nice. I bought my LS for the Daily business driver and never thought it would be a toy, is now.

And bone stock it'll dust your MarkVIII.

It prolly wont become much of a toy to me, just something that I can auctually stand to drive everyday.

Btw how fast are they stock? It defenatly isn't as fast on the top end as the mark.

But there's enough differnce on the bottom end that I could see it being quicker.
 
so stock I ran a best of 14.6 and constant 14.9 in my 97 mark so how will a ls "Dust" that

Stock GenII LSes will go 14.6-14.8 usually. Open filter and tune have done 14.2. The 5speed auto is the nibbleness you feel vs. the sluggish Mark trans. allong with 3.58 gears in all GenIIs. Top end they will hold up fine against a MarkVIII,
