I need to wire in a recepticle for trailer lights. Where are the tail light wires to tie into? I found some wires under the bumper. Are those the wires or should I be looking somewhere else?

They go on a f-250.

Get a cheap 12v checker and figure it out.
Turn on the lights, find the wire.
Have a buddy push the brakes, find the wire.
Turn on the left blinker, find the wire.
Turn on the right blinker, find the wire.

I took my Mark to a trailer shop to get it wired for a trailer. it would of cost me 150.00 to get it done. the mark viii has a very sensitive electrical system and you need to get a special thing to make it work. i forget what its called but it runs around 100 bucks or so just for the part.

take it to a trailer shop to get it done properly. Needless to say, i passed on the hitch and wiring. hope this helps.

Just start stripping wires and connect them. If a fire starts then try a different wire.

Noticed it got hit today. So....I really don`t care at this point. Don`t know when it got hit, have`nt looked at it in a couple of weeks.

I just don`t drive it much. It sits outside under a blanket of snow.
I`ve only driven it snow twice in the last three years, the underside still looks really good. I`ve just lost intrest in it.

Well I did move it to the street, needed to make room for one of my trucks. Unfortunately I have 4.5 of those.

accounts are easy and free, photobucket.com very user freindly,

the 97 LSC that Bill had also had a tan interior, i personally dont like the look... but the combo was decent

so what are your plans with it?

Undecided, it can sit as far as I`m concerned. Recent health issues have taken the wind out of my sails. So it`s very low on my priorities list at the moment.

Remove red wire on battery attached to + post
Remove black wire on battery attached to (-) post

Install red wire onto battery (-) post
Install black wire onto battery + post

Enjoy.

Buy a truck.

Update:

I was able to find the wires and soldered in the trailer connector. It was a pretty straight forward installation. The trailer lights now light up.

My buddy owns a repo company and is looking for someone to haul cars to the auction with his 3 car wedge trailer! Do you want his number beings you now have "trailer lights and a hitch for the mark" ???
