Overpriced??

no way..Its only like what 15hp over a lsc. i'd by a used mark motor and the mark motor prob isnt beat to sh!t like that one... use the extra 2000 bucks on other upgrades.

It does have alittle better intake..But imho not worth what he's asking considering the price diff between motors

Edit: thought this was the one w/ c heads.

greg thats the same motor as in your car the only difference is the intake, thats still a b head motor, 96-98 cobra 4.6 basically the same as 93-98 mark VIII. 03 or 04 cobra motor is what you want.

yeah thats a 2 valve i wouldnt buy it either. little eaton m-90 too thats like a lawnmower blower!!!! the m-90's are what GM throws on their 6 cylinder 3800 motors!!

Those L67's will beat a mark viii stock for stock on the track in most platforms, and when modded, forget it they are way more responsive for lots less cash.

yeah..Most of the s/c 3800's run 14.9-15.1 stock.

I didn't know Saleen's were 2v motors.
Not all of them are. There were a few Saleen Cobras.

An M90 starts to run out of breath on a 3.8 (they put 'em on Ford 3.8s too, like mine :p ) in the lower 3xx whp range... Not much headroom on a 4.6, even a 2v.

What did it run? My 94 Mark ran 14.6 at 97+ stock.

14.6 is damn good for a stock mark imho. To be respectful of the forum I don't want to post times I no longer have a slip to prove. I don't want poeple to think my comments were trying to invoke a pising contest. But to answer your question it was very close to your number.
