Is there a way to read / monitor the transmission temperature on these cars? The information center gives out gas mileage and some other useful information but what about transmission temperature? I would like to be able to monitor the temperature since I'll be doing some towing with this vehicle.

Every hundred miles just dissconect the lower trans line to the radiator, aim at your crotch and have someone fire up the car. If its just first degree burns then you are fine.

I think it should tell us tire temp, timing of the motor, g forces (actually would be cool), amount of fuel being burned every second, amount of circles you have done, how much elevation change, gps, amount of money in bank account, and of course, how much the wood chucks have been chucking

Why don't you splurge & get an inline trans cooler for $49.95. It might make the difference between success & failure. I pull my pontoon boat all of the time but I have gears & a trans cooler to help, spend the 50 bucks.......

Thanks for the excellent suggestion. I'm going to buy the largest plate type transmission cooler I can find.

they make one that looks exactly like sticking 2 radiators together
