for that last car i parted out, the 97 lsc that everyone said i should save, 299k miles and i knew the motor was garbage, this is why i part certain ones out, not based on their looks, but based on how it runs, how many miles it might have, i know when it isnt worth fixing, this is exactly why i knew i shouldnt do anything to this car but part it out....

that was the car that we bought, and this is what i found today when i tore the motor apart. its too bad that the guy invested so much money into keeping the car looking good, but totally neglected the most important part of the car. enjoy these pics, lets hope there isnt many people who do this to their car.

its really simple to avoid this, its called changing the oil, if you let your oil go longer than you should, you may have this to look forward to someday, let it be a lesson!!!

Wow!! All I can say is Wow! What did that thing sound like running?

You wouldn't be selling the rear bumper off that thing would you? :)

normal, the only sludge was on top of the heads, and the front of the block, timing cover, and rear main seal plate, no sludge in the pan, or lower end of the motor, except the oil pump was filled with it too. yes i am selling the bumper covers, i have about 20 of them, and no i wont ship it, because as soon as you hear the price to ship you'll tell me to forget it anyway, pick the bumper up you can have one for 30 bucks!
i threw the heads right into the dumpster i am not keeping something like that in the shop thats trash to me, not even worth scrap money!

since dhl stopped shipping residential, about twice as much as the best condition bumper is worth! i know i couldnt ship it for any less than 150 bucks without a doubt. and because ups and fedex lick balls, it would most likely end up damaged just like the very last one i sent k9t8m a while back. that was the last one i ever shipped.

ive seen shyt like that before. heres a 00 cougar (the fwd contour based pos) the valve cover was leaking and this is what i found under it
we told the customer how bad it was, he didnt care, so we finished the job and away he went

If you want or have time, you could send it to my shop. It's a commercial adress. Don't want to be a PITA, Just can't find one around here.

that wont make it any easier for me ! everything large i ship gets destroyed, i dont want to ship it man sorry, it isnt worth it for me. and no brandon i never tried greyhound because the closest one for me to drop off to is 38 miles one way, again, not worth it for me! i wish i could help but i refuse to ship large items anymore they never make it without getting wrecked, i have been doing this for 11 years and i have had to refund a whole :q:q:q:q pile of people its not worth it.

Out of curiousity, did any of the followers pop off of do you think it had dead coils?

i dont know dan, but all 8 coil packs were original ford motorcraft with old ass yellow part number stickers on top, the boots however look brand new. i cant see the coil packs all being the ones that were put in the car when it was built, theres no way they could all still be working! oh well, now the car is just a shell!

Just shop vac all of the top off, dump kerosine into it, run for a min, then drain oil, put fresh oil in, run for a week, dump it out and then change filter and oil.. good as new!
