Refinishing Wheels

Very original, and it looks very nice. Do you have lowering springs?

No lowering springs, although I was strongly considering them. After getting these wheels on there, though, I think stock is fine. The darker wheels blend into the wheel well pretty nicely, and I am not the type that thinks the fender has to be touching the tire for it to look good. Maybe eventually, but at least for the time being I am very happy with the current ride height.

wow they look great!!!...even at stock height they fit perfectly...good job

Yea I think it looks very good as it is. I think Eibachs would set it off perfectly though.

it looks great but i would def say to go with the eibachs to give it a sportier look to go with those wheels. also, i like those tires how much did they run you ?

That looks awesome. Want to trade cars? I think it looks good at stock height as well. Eibachs would look good though.

I got the tires mounted up this week and put the wheels on the car this morning.

The center caps were a bit of a pain to refinish, mostly because the black paint I used needed longer than I thought to fully cure. I am happy with the end result, though; it adds a nice little touch instead of the OZ logo.

I saved ~2.5lbs per corner, or around 10lbs of total rotating mass. Not bad for going from the stock 17" to 18", while also getting an additional 20mm of width with the 255/40R18 tires.
