when searching for a new neon, how many missing tabs is too many? i just won an auction on ebay for a rear neon, bad ballast but good bulb with no black inside, but it was advertised in the auction as no broken tabs, but then after i win the auction for $89 + 39 shipping, the seller tells me that 4 clips are broken. now im ticked off, i think im going to tell him to screw and tell him to cancel this auction!

Yeah, that's a dick move on his part. If they're all on the same side, then that would suck, but if they're spread out evenly, it would probably be ok as long as you reinforce the remaining tabs/studs.

I would only go through with the sale if they agreed to free shipping or something equivalent.

hes not responding to my message now, i hope he dont give me trouble. i have 100% positive feedback and this ass is probably going to give me negative feedback, his listing says no returns as is, but he lied in his listing. hopefully ebay will take my side. friggin idiot!

you should be covered, if the add says no broken tabs now he tells you there is ebay should side with you.

dude dont you still have one on your car??? take it off the car, and take some of them off your neon and put them on the new neon, it doesnt get any easier than that!

yea jus did. its been years since i seen the back of one of these, i forgot the mounting bolts are removeable....

But just to let you know I was looking at mine today and I think the person I bought it from did what you guys are talking about with the epoxy
