Hi guys.
My Mark has a problem with airride.
When ingnition is on compressor start working and stop working in a current of 6 seconds.
Both front air suspension strut is down, rear air bags is normal
I don`t heard leaks.
I think, what the air suspension compressor is broken, and want to bue it from arnott.
What do you think about quality of products from Arnott Industries

if you turn the ignition and the compressor comes on then it's working....I would look at the sensors
in auto repair shop say that compressor dead.
and I Look for new one, many pepole says that arnott`s strut and rear bags are not good, but about air copressor?

Compressor is shot, buy rebuilt from American Air Suspension. Also consider buying Spider Valve to prolong life of system.

Compressor is probably fine. I am betting its the relay. But of course verify this. If you are handy with tools you can take the driver's side side-marker out. There you will see the ABS relay. Attach a rope to the harness and disconnect (rope so it does not fall too far). Or you can remove the wheel and wheel well cover and do it the right way.

Either way, remove this replay then head on over to the passenger side and look for the same metal-finned silver relay and pop it in. Its the SAME relay and will work fine. If you now find that it works, there is your problem.

Before anyone says that a bad relay causes an immediate "check air ride", well it does not always do so. I had this problem with mine. In fact since the ride computer "thought" the compressor was chugging along happily it would keep the front bag solenoids open causing the front to slam. After 45 sec it would finally know something was up.

This is a quick, free test to double check the compressor.

considering the front is slammed there is obviously a leak, my guess is one or both front struts leaks and the compressor tried keeping up for so long that its now fried, it may come on briefly, and shut down because the cylinder wall and piston are probably binding. even if you put a rebuilt compressor in, you need to fix the front struts too, you can take the compressor completely out of the car and let the air lines hang down, if the struts and bags are good, the car will stay up, when the air ride falls you obviously have a leak, leaks burn up compressors, its pretty simple!

I agree with the above post that Arnott is crap.

I'd try to get the Adrenaline compressor from American Air Suspension. I have one and it's great and a much better set up than stock (Made by Eddie at American Air Suspension). Click link in my sig.

I'm sure that Eddie will be able to ship it to you but I do know as I tried shipping to Moscow once it was not cheap.

Good luck ...

How do these cars get to Russia and WTF!:eek::eek::eek::eek:
