Free 97 ford car repair disc

You need to compress it and then upload the .zip. I custom made mine to just under the upload limit. I believe I used 7Zip.

its 2.7gb, i cant compress it that much, best upload site i found is 300 or 500mb. i may try splitting the files.

I just noticed the size. Is that on DVD?

Here in Russia we have all that staff available through the "torrent" p2p file exchange system... With no problems.
There is no special 95 image that works (some mistakes, it wouldn't run), you can easely use 94 - no major (or rather minor) changes were made.
There are: 92, 93-94, 96, 97 & 98 Ford service manuals in CD format, running on x32 (x86) operating systems (or on virtual machines with such OS), and 96-99 & 2000-2003 DVDs with some issues. Also 2003-2004, 2005-2006 & 2007-2008 partially working.

They are handy for reference. Some of the testing requires special tools. Wiring manuals and instructions aren't always accurate though so you know ;) I find the earlier year manuals are more informative and easier to use then the newer stuff.

I agree, but if you need info on newer models it's the only way. I prefer 93-94 & 96 style.
Also, the manuals for Marks 96-98 are the same on cd's 96,97,98 & DVD 96-99.

This 95 download has the same problem as mine version - wrong volume label. You can try to figure it someway, but this is not a direct decision of the "95 CD problem".

Search google for a way to rename the iso, it is easy with the right program to burn it to a cd...

wrong volume label

when you put your disc in and you go to my computer and look at the disc drive, what is the exact name, compy and paste if you can. we have to name our disc that exact name for it to work, if we name it wrong in any way it will say wrong volume because it thinks its the wrong disc.

Changing volume label is not a problem for those, who are familiar with computers, and a big deal for others. So if you are not so good, it is not a Plug-N-Play thing, thats the only issue I meant.
And again: there are no major improvements between 94 & 95, you can easyly use 94. And if it's the 96 model year already - use 96. The difference is in OBD: 95 use the old system, 96 - OBD-II already.

Why out?? A perfectly working CD 93-94 exists, all differences of 93 & 94 are mentioned there...

95 CD with that label works, but does everyone here can change it?

96+ DVD service manuals don't use labels to identify disk - they use "volume.ini" in the root of the disc.
My 96-99 needed a slight modification to work correctly, be careful.

I head to rename "database" folder to "databases" in the image to make elctrical schematics work. Without mod it caused a error in "wiring_sql.js" file.
