Nice Mark, I have one question, please don't take it the wrong way. What inspired the yellow stripe?
 
Why yellow

The car started out pearl white bumperes were bad , couldn't match color so i like black and yellow

I for one don't care for racing stripes on any car, but I'm loving the blower and the yellow brakes don't look too bad, I may even repaint mine, but all silver or chrome for more color

how much was the lambo door kit, I actually like that
 
That was white? Wow, that must have been one very expensive paint job! :eek:

I was thinking about painting mine Sonic Blue but with the cost of doing the engine bay and all the jambs..... too rich for my blood.
 
What did you have to do to get that Procharger to fit correctly? That is the blower I want, but I will have a Cobra intake. The bumblebee look is quite different on a Mark.

The lambo door are welded . The fenders had to be remove to weld a steel plate along the engine compartment . The cost $4000. As far as horse power the supercharger is only pulling 10 lbs. Of boost so my horse power is right around 400hp.

The procharger was for a ford cobra . We cut in to the fenders and ran the pipping right in front of the passenger front wheel. We were lucky to find the pipe off of the intake because the cobra kit extends right where the shock tower is.
 
different... Not bad.... I've never been into "lambo" door mods, but yeah, interesting looking car.
 
oh great the car i made fun of and now he signed up as a member!! sorry if you see my post mike, i mean no harm, i just dont like that yellow. you drove right past me last saturday on us19 in tarpon springs. i tried to call you back but your message only saves for so long on my phone. i'd like you to come to our mark VIII meet june 26th. just look in this section for the post, jamie's mark meet is what its called, it gives all the info there. i deffinetly like under your hood!!
 
Any videos of the doors in operation? I may save up for that in next years batch of mods
 
i saw your car last saturday and made a post here about it asking if anyone had ever seen it. i made fun of the yellow stripe, i love the car, i just didnt care for the yellow, but to each his own is what they say right! i had saved your message so i could call you back but your message only stores for a few days, when i tried to return your call i couldnt get your message back for your number, but, now we are here, together!! i want you to come to the meet for sure the more marks we get the better time we have!

yes i am going to try to be there but please don't laugh at my stripe, it's alot better than the plain pearl with messed up bumpers how do you insert the picture of your car

no mike i am not laughing, i wont put your car down, i'm sure it would destroy my car!! its just very unusual to see such an abstract paint job on a mark VIII. most of us mark owners are hardcore solid color fans! i wont make fun of your car, we are all the same bunch of lincoln fans here, no one will put your car down. i just didnt want you to read my original post and say oh, this jamie guy is a dick!!
 
Only on LVC will you have a member saying he yelled "what a piece of...." to another car, and then invite said car, to a bbq the next week. :lol:
 
well now that i see the pictures and what has been done i cant say anything bad about it other than what i dont like, when i saw it go by me at 50mph after working 26 1/2 hours straight it looked like a p.o.s. i now retract the comment! jesus come on, i want the guy to come to the meet i dont want him to feel like a target for christ sake!
