TC switch wiring

I have been searching how to rewire the tc switch. I have a diagram but I don't know if the tc trigger wire is switched to ground or a 12 volt source. I'm trying to design a auto disable switch. I have a 50/50 chance of being right but don't want to destroy anything

What year? On a Gen1...

It is a fused 12V circuit with a N/O switch to the antilock module. Basically it applies 12V to the appropriate module pin when the TC switch is depressed. I'm not sure if it's latching or momentary... a quick test of the switch would determine that.

I observed this: Connect the 2 O/D wires together once, the O/D goes off, do it again, it comes back on etc.

The switch is nothing more than a 'push to make, let go to break'. I guess that's momentary?

Edit: Yeah, that switch is definitely momentary - just checked the definition.

The O/D switch is definitely momentary... he's asking 'bout the Traction Control switch. I've never tested it - just observing the from the EVTM, it appears to be momentary.

Ah, OK. Well, I wired my O/D to the TC switch a long time ago, so that they would come on and off together - the 2 pins I connected to were definitely momentary, but there were more pins and I can't remember what the others did - probably illumination etc. - I see a pin diagram for the module in the EVTM, nothing for the switch itself. Although, it would make sense that the 2 wires I used for O/D would be the ones that turn the TC on and off.
