Yes I do not think a tripod was my problem... It is just a point and shoot crappy camera... nothing special. It just can't take nighttime photos. I need to get a legitimate camera.

Lincoln Jealous, I paid the LSK price. However, I now wish I had gone with Team Ford. It is not only cheaper, but I also wonder if I would have gotten better service. I am not sure if you can tell, but my chrome insert in the lower grill has a crack in it that I had to repair myself (it bugs the crap out of me). LSK/Max @ FiveStarFord sent me out 3 of those and they all kept getting broken in shipment (who packs a flimsy piece of plastic in a paper thin box?), until they denied to send me another due to someone @ my house signing for it which therefore means I 'accepted' the package as broken. Thus I was denied a refund until I ship the part back out of my own pocket and was told to find it elsewhere.

Like I mentioned in another thread about this, I am sure it was an isolated event - as I have had many good transactions myself through Ken and Max both. I have spent alot of money through them and never had a problem before. All I know, is I won't be spending anymore there.
 
I used that wax today. And wow if you can spray a bottle and wipe with a cloth, you can use this wax in a matter of minutes. Seriously it was the easiest waxing ever with this stuff... It is so easy it almost feels like you're wasting your time because it is not hard work like paste waxes. Haha.

Anyways first impression of the wax is "sh!t this smells awesome!" Yes, it smells amazing, it makes me want to drink it. You have to sometimes go over the same area with the cloth a few times to prevent streaking, but it is not a painful process.

All in all I love the wax! And this is going to last me a long time... I barely had to use any.

That wax was for the plastic in the engine bay?
 
No the wax is for the paint. It is a water-based wax that is safe to use on new paint.

The engine bay is just dressed with a little Meguiar's tire shine and Mothers back-to-black. I just use the same applicator pad after doing the wheels, to do the engine bay (after cleaning the engine bay). It works perfectly!
 
Nice work. I noticed you put the chrome turn signal bulbs up front too. How do you like the clean look?

By the way, what is that "Warning" sticker to the right of the shock tower?

yes, you'll just have a very minor gap from the gen2 headlights being bigger and you having gen1 headlights with this bumper

I love the straight on picture on page one of this thread. Those gaps are perfectly even along the sides of the hood. Nice work! I can second the difficulty in positioning a hood by yourself. I did it a few years back on an old pickup truck. My end result wasn't nearly as nice as this.

That car is dead sexy.

i would just patch up the gap because i would have to paint the bumper anyways, im thinking about getting on this summer, 600 is alot on top of rims lol i want a white and chrome lse grill too, thats another 200 lol:D
 
Thanks rainjack. It was tough!

Car feels great. Getting oil changed Friday and filling up with fresh gas! Weather is in the 70s and all is perfect right now! I love spring. And I love washing the LS.
 
Oh and 05LS. Yea I threw the chromes in front. I think I like it. The ambe lense on the aide still throws enough orange in there to give some contrast.

Also the warning sticker is for a remote start. Which doesn't work on my car and I don't know how to fix it. Was installed by a shop from previous owner. I am
planning on putting a new alarm with remote start on evenually and will have them pull it then.

vehicle equipped with a dei remote start system
if vehicle battery is disconected, the system may attemp to start when the battery is reconnected or transmitter is used. Press brake to disengage. Check with vehicle owner to determine if hood pin switch or override switch was installed to disengage the sustem for servoce.
