Need some parts.

Need some help if any of you have these laying around. I need that bar that is mounted to the floor pan directly in front of the gas tank. It has four bolts and goes under the driveshft/exhaust. Some kind of brace, mine is gone. :(

Also need the license plate light mount/lense. I have PMd a couple members but no response yet and since I just got the insurance check I want to start getting my parts on the way. :)


Already have the bumper foam and just ordered a new seat back. As soon as the check clears I will order my Borla mufflers, the tips I like, the Magnaflow resonater and the mandrel bent pipes. She should be looking and sounding good soon. :wrench

go over to dallas there might be some junk yard with mk8's i dont have the bar either ..lowered marks dont like em

Lol, too funny! I got the same reaction too when asking for some small parts.

I might have a cross brace you can have with bolts if you don’t mind waiting till spring when I can get her out of the snow bank, probably a license plate bulb holder too.

I might be able to get that sooner, I just cant get the bar till I can get my parts car up...... I might have one in back though I will have to check next time I'm home.
 
I've got three different piles of parts, your more than welcome to come dig thru them.
100% most guarantee'd they are all first gen parts, you cant use.. but..
Come over anyways, hurry.
the new safety glasses are in and they are SEXY with ear string things
 
That bar should be the same on teh first gen Tom.

Gotta set up a time to meet by Jeffs work. In a couple weeks I am going back to do a J-mod, fix the trans seal and install a TC after I figure out what one I want. :)
 
Hi Bill. I am very sorry that i have not responded to you yet. I have been stuck at a job in Sarasota for the past few days so I havent been on the computer to check up. I do have the plate light lense for the rear bumper, I also should have the bar underneath on my 94 Rosemist. They are the same 1st to 2nd gen so thats no problem. I should have time friday after work to get under it and remove it for you. It would be a pleasure to help you out Bill. Let me know if you would like me to check on the bar. I'll get the :q:q:q:q to you quicker than he will. Jamie has too much going on right now lol. I have 2 bars and 8 bolts and 2 lenses for the tag. If you want them by Tuesday, let me know. I'll get them to you by then. Jamie don't need any money, he just needs a big box and a little time. He knows what I'm talking about lol.

Seriously, it don't matter to me who send who what but if you want them Bill, I'll send them. Jamie knows I'm just bustin ballz.

Bill on that support bar, your going to need the four 10mm bolts too, if I have to weld that phucker in, you will sign the agreement that you need to have Firestone finish all the rest of your work from this point forward.

And as you know I'm one for safety but those Croaky thingies are just a fad, don't believe any of that shiznit for a second.

By the way looks like Tom is getting some action, if it been a while you might want to jump in there and get some too, or at least video tape it, we can sell it on the net and get the rest of the monies you need to buy this KB 2.8H comp package off me.

Not going to be welded! :mad: Its even going to cost me an additional $120 to have 4 flange points made on my new exhaust JUST so its easier for when you do my J-mod. :D
Besides, your welding skills suck. :p

And keep the 2.8 on the DL. :wrench
 
Bill, why not just do the LED conversion for the rear license plate light? You won't need the old bulb holder anymore. Took me about 15 minutes to wire it in:

And why dont you expand on tha a little more? Cant do a mod I dont know exists. Why wouldnt the housing need to be used? I had an LED bulb in there before but it was crushed from the impact.
