It started snowing here about 45 minutes ago. We are supposed to get 8"

This is Southern Texas for christs sake!

That just looks so wrong, being in Texas. Can't imagine how people must lose their minds in that weather. They do all the time here, and snow is normal.

Welcome to the snow club. We have mountains of it everywhere.

Colorado hasn't been drilled yet, most has been a few inches. Anything more than that and I will call into work. The Mark has done surprising well.

We have had more snow this winter than Buffalo New York, and I live in the south. 76 inches here to date with more coming Monday.

you can thank elnino' however its spelled! i am in mid west florida and tomorrows high is only suppoed to be 48. i know i know shut up whiners, 48 is hot to some of you right now, but 48 for a high in florida is not high at all! we are under another freeze warning tonight and tomorrow night with a bunch of rain tomorrow too. i came here to be warm and enjoy the weather not this crap wet cold and windy.

I did 3 winters on Nitto 275-35-18's on my T-Bird. I don't think I need to explain how much that sucked.

Used to get pissed when people would call out of work on me. Would always tell them to suck it up, if I could make it, anyone could.

Yeah well it is Texas and it only snows 1/2" every other year. This is our third snow this season and its way more then most here know how to handle. Hell I have NEVER driven in snow.
I will prolly not go into work tomorrow.

Hell, we have 17" on the ground right now... I've stuck the Mark at least once every day this week....

not go into work???????????????????????? dude you need to try and drive in a foot or more!!! then you can call into work, and usually the only reason why you can, is because you need the day off to dig your car out of the ditch you went into! this wasnt fun to drive in either not with the 285-35's

LOL My Firebird didnt do very well tuesday night in the snow, i was comming home from school at 10:30 pm tuesday and everything was going fine intill i had to down shift going down a big hill (or mountain for you non KY people) to keep my car from stalling out, she broke traction and went across all 3 lanes on I-65 into the center divider and re-decorated my front bumper, drivers fender and driver side quarter panel. All of that happened at a whopping 20mph!!! lol

Not calling in. The owner said to not go if there was snow cover on the ground. I drive 50 miles each way and that road sucks ass and Texans cant drive in this chit.
I have no issues at all going in and driving in this stuff. If I can handle driving on ice and these torential downpours we have then I think I can handle a couple inches of snow.

But if the owner says stay home then no problem! I can use teh sleep. :D

I have about 3 feet on the ground and I am at work. I can see why in south Texas though, I imagine they have 0 snow removal equipment or salt.

my mom just called from eaustice (east of dallas)
shes got 6-10 inches in her yard.

laser your cows said "Fthis" and migrated south

Dang, started snowing again.

I took my little airplane out earlier to go play with it in the snow. Was neat flying that little yellow Cub with the snow comming down. :D

Why in hell do you have a dryer outside?

 Untill this moment I had thought that was a washer. I never paid attention to the door. I put in a better one and my friend that wanted that old one hasnt come and picked it up. Now I dont have a truck so it sits there untill untill.

LOL I had to ask.

I pulled 4ft of snow off my roof onto my deck today, then shoveled it off the deck took me over 3 hours, the snow is higher then my deck now.

My above ground pool is under the snow...that's how much of that white crap we have.

I hate the $hit, too old for this monkey business.
