So it seems in heavy rain my new Mark leaks just like my old one did. Both rear foot well areas get nice and wet. Thought was the moon roof but then saw the wet spots coming from the door seals. On the lower trailing edge of both door seals the seal is flat. It no longer expands back out to the roundish shape. :( This is the door seal thats black and also has the interior color matched strip on it as well. It goes all the way around the door opening and under the plasetic scuff plates.

I am waiting for Maxx to call me back to see if he has them. Couldnt locate them on ebay. Any other places for them?

I have solid black seals Laser. They came off the 93 and were in excellent condition the last time I looked. Are you sure it's not the moon roof? It has drain tracks and if one or both are clogged, it's going in the floor. I would make sure before swapping all that rubber.

Yes I am sure. I opened the roof and its completly dry all around it. I also pulled back the rear side trim around the rear speakers and the padding is all dry and no water streaks.
My 97 leaked EXACTLY the same way. The door seal is just worn. I want brand new though, no used stuff. I am gonna start searching more when I can get my work done here.

You can see in this pic how the door seal is compressed and on the door itself it is very wet where that seal would normally stop the water from touching it so I know its the seals.

Checke door alignment? May, at least for now, move the catch in a little to make the door close more. Even an 1/8" can be a big deal.

"Pack" the door seals... I found some awesome flexible round rols of rubber at a hobby store that fit nicely inside the seal...

Send me some KK :D

Well it seems only SCP has them and they will be all black instead of the color matched inner part. :( They are also about $100 shipped but its better then flooding my car. Maxx dont have em or can get them so unless someone knows a better place that may have the right color let me know. I am gonna order them Monday.

can a clogged moonroof or bad door seals result in moisture on the inside of the windshield? i get that sometimes and it drives me crazy, esp with no defrost. damn blend door!

Guess I can go check the hobby shop here first then.
